Games that make you forget about everything else and live in that one special moment\u2014watching your favorite team jump fearlessly into battle like gladiators in the days of the Roman Empire or like a ruthless army, ready to conquer and emerge victorious no matter what. And if you are reading this, you probably know\u2014that is exactly the feeling that watching professional Counter-Strike brings too.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There is another thing, however, that connects most great teams in the history of any sport, powerful and notorious empires, and the most successful lineups in the history of Counter-Strike\u2014they all have had and needed their captains, the leaders who guided them to the highest of heights.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sure,<\/span><b> In-Game Leaders<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> can be different. Not everyone is a natural captain or \u201ccommander\u201d; some grow into the role. There have always been and will always be different styles of leading a CS team. <\/span><b>Karrigan<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>gla1ve<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>apEX<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>FalleN<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>pronax<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>Xizt<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>HeatoN<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>Happy<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>Zeus<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>nitr0<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2014the list of names that have led their teams to greatness goes on and on. And the beauty of it? At the end of the day, how could a teenager who has barely participated in a couple of tournaments and has hardly had the time to forge his own character and principles possess the knowledge and skills to be the one others lean on when push comes to shove? Well, just like that.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The past few years have introduced many aspiring captains in their <\/span><b>early twenties<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> who are now much more attractive investments for big organizations than some older, more experienced players who have had multiple chances across their careers. Truthfully, not many can be like <\/span><b>Kamil \u201csiuhy\u201d Szkaradek<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and become one of the best IGLs at just 22, but aside from the young Pole, players like<\/span><b> ztr<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (<\/span><b>GamerLegion<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">), <\/span><b>LNZ<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (<\/span><b>Heroic<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">), <\/span><b>s1n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (<\/span><b>M80<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">), <\/span><b>bLitz<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (<\/span><b>The MongolZ<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">), and <\/span><b>fear<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (<\/span><b>Fnatic<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">) are already making waves and showing impressive results, despite still having most of their careers ahead of them.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">However, the purpose of this article is to go even deeper than that. To look beyond the karrigans, apEXs, and Aleksibs, beyond even siuhy, ztr, and LNZ, and focus on<\/span><b> the youngest IGLs<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2014the ones who, despite being mere teenagers at the very start of their careers, have already more than proved their potential to one day lead some of the best teams in the world. Some of them have even gotten a taste of Tier 1 Counter-Strike.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>\u21163 \u2013 Aulon \u201cKrabeni\u201d Fazlija (NAVI Junior)<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-137322\" src=\"https:\/\/skin.club\/community\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Krabeni-1.jpg\" alt=\"Krabeni\" width=\"1280\" height=\"720\" srcset=\"https:\/\/community.skin.club\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Krabeni-1.jpg 1280w, https:\/\/community.skin.club\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Krabeni-1-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/community.skin.club\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Krabeni-1-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/community.skin.club\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Krabeni-1-768x432.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">19-year-old Kosovian<\/span><b> Aulon \u201cKrabeni\u201d Fazlija <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">is the type of player you\u2019d describe as an <\/span><b>anomaly<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. After the massive success of the <\/span><b>Bad News Eagles<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> lineup, created in 2022, which qualified for three consecutive Majors (<\/span><b>PGL Antwerp 2022<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>IEM Rio 2022<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and <\/span><b>BLAST.tv Paris 2023<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">), most people were convinced that stars like <\/span><b>juanflatroo<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>rigoN<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and <\/span><b>sinnopsyy<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> were the best the region had to offer. Their struggles to make it in international squads reinforced a well-known truth\u2014Balkan players perform best on Balkan teams and often find it tough to break through in international competition. But this is where <\/span><b>Krabeni <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and his 18-year-old teammate <\/span><b>Drin \u201cmakazze\u201d Shaqiri<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> seem to be <\/span><b>different<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Starting his career in 2022\u2014right during the \u201cawakening\u201d of BNE\u2014on teams like <\/span><b>Reveal Internationa<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">l and <\/span><b>ESK<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, the then-16-year-old Krabeni was not even an IGL. Like many young players, he focused primarily on his individual skill, which had been his main strength from the very beginning. However, much like his countrymen and the famously emotional and flamboyant BNE roster led by sinnopsyy, Krabeni had a very tempestuous personality\u2014but in a positive way. His raw emotions and passion for the game, combined with undeniable individual talent, helped him climb the ranks of the Kosovian scene. After trials with various teams, he was picked up by <\/span><b>BLINK<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in <\/span><b>July 2022<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, where he spent the next ten months delivering good yet inconsistent results, averaging a<\/span><b> 0.98 <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">rating without necessarily shining as a star.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Eventually, things didn\u2019t work out with BLINK, and Krabeni joined another Kosovian team, <\/span><b>KS<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, in <\/span><b>June 2023<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. There, he officially began his long partnership with <\/span><b>makazze<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. However, Krabeni was still not an IGL. While on KS, his confidence started growing, alongside his individual level and in-game knowledge. His stats improved, and within three months and two events, it became clear\u2014Krabeni and makazze were an incredibly intriguing duo. Their potential didn\u2019t go unnoticed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In a shocking move\u2014considering <\/span><b>NAVI Junior<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2019s historical focus on developing only Ukrainian and Russian players\u2014<\/span><b>Krabeni<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>makazze<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and Romanian talent <\/span><b>David \u201cfnl\u201d Mu\u0219uroiu<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> were signed in October 2023 as part of a massive rebuild of the academy roster. This is where Krabeni\u2019s journey as an IGL began.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-137337\" src=\"https:\/\/skin.club\/community\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Krabeni-2.jpg\" alt=\"Krabeni\" width=\"1280\" height=\"720\" srcset=\"https:\/\/community.skin.club\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Krabeni-2.jpg 1280w, https:\/\/community.skin.club\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Krabeni-2-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/community.skin.club\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Krabeni-2-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/community.skin.club\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Krabeni-2-768x432.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">From day one at NAVI Junior, it was obvious that Krabeni had a <\/span><b>strong leadership spirit <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and a <\/span><b>powerful personality<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, making him the clear choice for the next In-Game Leader of the team. What made him special was his ability to call plays and manage the game while still maintaining a strong individual performance. He even handled some micro-managing during rounds when needed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In that sense, Krabeni perfectly embodies the \u201c<\/span><b>New Age IGL<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201c\u2014aggressive, mechanically skilled, active, and willing to sacrifice for the team. He isn\u2019t afraid to make plays and has a confident, structured vision of how he wants to control space and win rounds. At the same time, he is open to learning and listening to those around him, both in and out of the server\u2014traits of a true leader.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2024 was hands down the best year of his career. NAVI Junior <\/span><b>won<\/b> <b>6 online CS2 events<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, consistently made playoffs, and pulled off upsets against significantly bigger names. They became a feared opponent\u2014not just because of a couple of star players, but because their playstyle reflected Krabeni\u2019s philosophy: high-paced, aggressive, dynamic, and surprisingly well-structured for an academy team. Credit must also be given to the team\u2019s coach, <\/span><b>Andr\u00e1s \u201ccoolio\u201d Fercs\u00e1k<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, for helping shape their playstyle.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Krabeni and NAVI Junior have become a formidable force in <\/span><b>Tier 2<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> CS in 2025. Having already played<\/span><b> 77 official maps<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> this year and secured dominant wins over teams like <\/span><b>ENCE<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>Spirit Academy<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>Fnatic<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>SINNERS<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>OG<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>PASSION UA<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and <\/span><b>PARAVISION<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, it is evident that what Krabeni and his teammates are building is something special. If this trend continues, it is only logical that we will eventually see the 19-year-old Kosovian captain take the next step\u2014<\/span><b>leading one of the biggest teams in the world<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>\u21162 \u2013 Christoffer \u201cChr1zN\u201d Storgaard (OG Esports)<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-137352\" src=\"https:\/\/skin.club\/community\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Chr1zN-1.jpg\" alt=\"Chr1zN\" width=\"1280\" height=\"720\" srcset=\"https:\/\/community.skin.club\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Chr1zN-1.jpg 1280w, https:\/\/community.skin.club\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Chr1zN-1-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/community.skin.club\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Chr1zN-1-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/community.skin.club\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Chr1zN-1-768x432.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Next on the list is the<\/span><b> youngest player<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in this top 3 and one of the<\/span><b> youngest IGLs in a major organization worldwide<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2014<\/span><b>OG<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2019s very own <\/span><b>Christoffer \u201cChr1zN\u201d Storgaard<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The 18-year-old Dane began his career in <\/span><b>2020\/2021<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, playing alongside his future <\/span><b>MOUZ NXT <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">teammate <\/span><b>William \u201csirah\u201d Kj\u00e6rsgaard <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and his own brother. At just 13 years old, Chr1zN and his teammates competed in the second tier of Danish Counter-Strike leagues, already making his first steps as an In-Game Leader in a \u201cself-taught\u201d environment. With no formal coaching or guidance, he had to be both teacher and student\u2014learning and leading simultaneously. Soon after, he moved on to <\/span><b>AGF<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><b>Tricked<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, where his role shifted frequently.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Despite playing just 4 HLTV-recorded best-of-threes across both AGF and Tricked, Chr1zN transitioned from being the team\u2019s captain\u2014where leadership was often tied to playing supportive roles\u2014to becoming the \u201cstar of the team,\u201d as he describes it. He took on the lurker role on T-sides and played active CT positions, giving him a well-rounded perspective on the game.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"custom-bq\"><div class=\"custom-bq-q\"><p><strong><em>\u201cPlaying with new people and trying new roles helped me a lot. Not being an IGL for a while gave me a better understanding of what my teammates think, need, and want in different situations, which was incredibly helpful when I returned to being the captain.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p><\/div><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Despite his early success, most people outside of Denmark wouldn\u2019t recognize Chr1zN\u2019s name until his next major chapter\u2014<\/span><b>MOUZ NXT<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. After his time on Tricked ended in<\/span><b> September 2022<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, MOUZ NXT coach and former Danish pro <\/span><b>Tobias \u201cTOBIZ\u201d Theo<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> scouted him. TOBIZ wanted to secure him before Astralis Talent did, bringing him in as a key piece for MOUZ NXT\u2019s rebuild. The connection between the two was<\/span><b> instant<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Chr1zN and TOBIZ quickly realized they were a <\/span><b>perfect fit<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. TOBIZ played a crucial role in shaping Chr1zN into a well-defined In-Game Leader\u2014rational, calm, comfortable in mid-round situations where he could slow the game down and make decisive calls. Above all, he was incredibly mature and calculated for his age.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Working with sports psychologists and dedicating a lot of effort towards developing players into true professionals has always been one of the main targets of the MOUZ NXT project, and Chr1zN fit perfectly into that vision. The start definitely was not easy for the team, as the abundance of roster changes made it nearly impossible to establish a consistent structure and identity. Chr1zN even had to take on the <\/span><b>AWPer<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> role for a bit. Of course, if you ask him, he would tell you that it helped him understand AWPers even better, which eventually made him a <\/span><b>stronger IGL<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-137367\" src=\"https:\/\/skin.club\/community\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Chr1zN-2.jpg\" alt=\"Chr1zN\" width=\"1280\" height=\"720\" srcset=\"https:\/\/community.skin.club\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Chr1zN-2.jpg 1280w, https:\/\/community.skin.club\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Chr1zN-2-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/community.skin.club\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Chr1zN-2-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/community.skin.club\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Chr1zN-2-768x432.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Despite these struggles, Chr1zN and MOUZ NXT eventually overcame their growing pains. By late<\/span><b> 2023<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and early <\/span><b>2024<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, the team had fully clicked, exceeding all expectations. Winning<\/span><b> 4 online tournaments <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">within a year and peaking at <\/span><b>#42 <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">in the<\/span><b> HLTV world rankings<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, the squad\u2014featuring <\/span><b>Chr1zN<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">,<\/span><b> sirah<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>PR<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>Neityu<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and <\/span><b>Burmylov<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2014took the <\/span><b>Tier 2 <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">scene by storm. Their dynamic yet calculated and structured playstyle convinced many that they could compete against top Tier 1.5 teams.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end\u2014but in this case, it was for something even bigger. In <\/span><b>August 2024<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Chr1zN \u201cgraduated\u201d from MOUZ NXT in a surprising move to become <\/span><b>OG<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2019s new <\/span><b>In-Game Leader<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, symbolizing a fresh start for an organization that had long struggled with inconsistency and direction.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Obviously, things did not start perfectly, as there was a lot of work to be done. Even someone as prolific and talented as Chr1zN couldn\u2019t just join the team and turn everything around in an instant. But seven months and a couple of roster changes later, it finally feels like Chr1zN and OG are on the right path to success, winning <\/span><b>13<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> out of their last 1<\/span><b>5<\/b> <b>Bo3s<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, despite still being on the lookout for their new and permanent AWPer, with <\/span><b>Nico \u201cnicoodoz\u201d Tamjidi <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">being the main candidate for the job.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To sum it up, I do not believe we are far from the moment when people will start calling Chr1zN <\/span><b>one of the best IGLs in the world<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. It might take six months, one year, two years, or even more\u2014but it just feels <\/span><b>inevitable<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. An 18-year-old who has already played nearly every position in the server, possesses a fantastic ability to recreate the map and read the game in his own mind, is mature, adaptive, quick in making decisions, and able to keep his cool in tough moments\u2014and he isn\u2019t too bad individually either.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With the utmost hope that the concept of jinxing one\u2019s potential does not exist\u2014I believe Chr1zN really is destined to be one of the greatest IGLs in Tier 1 Counter-Strike.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>\u21161 \u2013 Andrii \u201cnpl\u201d Kukharskyi (B8 Esports)<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-137382\" src=\"https:\/\/skin.club\/community\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/npl-1.jpg\" alt=\"npl\" width=\"1280\" height=\"720\" srcset=\"https:\/\/community.skin.club\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/npl-1.jpg 1280w, https:\/\/community.skin.club\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/npl-1-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/community.skin.club\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/npl-1-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/community.skin.club\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/npl-1-768x432.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201c<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nipl, why in God\u2019s name would you name yourself nipple?<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201d That was probably the first thought that went through a lot of people\u2019s minds when they first saw the name of 19-year-old Ukrainian talent <\/span><b>Andrii \u201cnpl\u201d Kukharskyi<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, but there is a lot more to this young, aggressive, stone-cold killer and <\/span><b>NaVi Academy<\/b> <b>player<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> than a funny nickname.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In<\/span><b> December 2021<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>Natus Vincere<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2019s academy had to undergo a major rebuild. With players like <\/span><b>m0NESY<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>Aunkere<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>fear<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and<\/span><b> flamie <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">gone, it was time for a new set of talents to emerge and join forces with the only \u201cleft behind\u201d member,<\/span><b> Daniil \u201cheadtr1ck\u201d Valitov<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. This is when we first saw one of the most exciting players in the latter stages of the <\/span><b>WePlay Academy League <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">circuit\u2014npl, or as he was still called at the time, <\/span><b>nipl<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At just 15 years old, the newly appointed IGL did not take the academy scene by storm right away, averaging around a<\/span><b> 0.93<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> rating across his first two seasons of <\/span><b>WPAL<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> with <\/span><b>NaVi<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. But the growing pains wouldn\u2019t last much longer. Despite <\/span><b>NaVi Junior <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">not winning either event, <\/span><b>Seasons 5<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><b>6<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> were when we saw why <\/span><b>Amiran \u201caMi\u201d Rehviashvili <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">had picked npl to be the next IGL. Posting a <\/span><b>1.21 <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and <\/span><b>1.26 <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">rating in those events, respectively, npl did not look like an IGL\u2014<\/span><b>he looked like a<\/b> <b>star<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. He and headtr1ck quickly built a great dynamic, where npl would create and open up space\u2014sometimes alongside opening skulls\u2014while headtr1ck ensured rounds were secured. NaVi Junior looked sharp, and so did npl\u2014until something pretty shocking happened.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Just as he was starting to look more and more comfortable as a fragging, entry In-Game Leader, npl was given a fantastic opportunity\u2014one that could also be seen as an incredibly challenging moment in any young player\u2019s career\u2014his first shot at playing <\/span><b>Tier 1<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> CS\u2026 <\/span><b>for NAVI\u2019s main team<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Most players have to spend at least two, three, or even five years before they get an opportunity to play in a<\/span><b> top 15<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> team, and many never even get that chance. But for npl, the exponential jump happened much earlier. In <\/span><b>December 2022<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, just one year after joining the NAVI Junior project, npl was promoted to the main Natus Vincere team to replace <\/span><b>Viktor \u201csdy\u201d Orudzhev <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">on a NAVI lineup that was ranked <\/span><b>#6<\/b> <b>in the world<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> at the time but was past its peak and still struggling to recover after the departure of <\/span><b>Kirill \u201cBoombl4\u201d Mikhailov <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">a few months earlier.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-137397\" src=\"https:\/\/skin.club\/community\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/npl-2.jpg\" alt=\"npl\" width=\"1280\" height=\"720\" srcset=\"https:\/\/community.skin.club\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/npl-2.jpg 1280w, https:\/\/community.skin.club\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/npl-2-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/community.skin.club\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/npl-2-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/community.skin.club\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/npl-2-768x432.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Many found the move questionable. Why would NAVI choose a 16-year-old with just one year of academy experience over <\/span><b>sdy<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> or a proven star like <\/span><b>YEKINDAR<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">? And would this youngster even be given the chance to develop into the same star he was on NAVI Junior? <\/span><b>Andrey \u201cB1ad3\u201d Gorodenskiy<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> clearly saw potential in npl, but once on the main team, the young player had to face reality and endure the same trial by fire that most teenagers who get fast-tracked into Tier 1 experience\u2014<\/span><b>the pressure can often be unbearable<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the 6 events he played with NAVI, npl averaged a <\/span><b>0.92 <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">rating, posting some of the worst stats of his career and, in reality, not looking like himself on the server. There were flashes of that crispy, aggressive, and entertaining rifler, but for the most part, uncertainty, hesitation, and discomfort overshadowed his performances. Sharing the server with players like <\/span><b>s1mple<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>electroNic-<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>b1t<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and <\/span><b>Perfecto<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, while being coached by one of the greatest tactical minds in the game\u2019s history, proved to be a huge challenge.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For many, this opportunity was enough to make the final verdict that npl simply wasn\u2019t cut out for Tier 1\u2014but not for the player himself. We can only imagine how a more introverted, quiet, and calm teenager would react to the immense pressure, frustration, and criticism from fans, analysts, and maybe even his own teammates. A player who barely had time to go through the Tier 2 scene was suddenly thrown into the deep end. And the big question at the end of it all was\u2014did this break him?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>No. No, it didn\u2019t.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Almost immediately after being dropped from NAVI in<\/span><b> July 2023<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, npl joined the Ukrainian side <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/skin.club\/community\/en\/skin-club-x-b8\"><b>B8<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, where he still plays today. He did not immediately slot into the IGL role, which at the time was occupied by<\/span><b> Denys \u201camster\u201d Liashenko<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and needed some time to regain his confidence. But fast forward a year and six months, and everything seems to have fallen into place. After reuniting with his NAVI Junior teammate and friend headtr1ck at the start of <\/span><b>2024<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, npl quickly rediscovered his form and once again became that flamboyant, aggressive rifler, despite his typically controlled and humble character.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-137412\" src=\"https:\/\/skin.club\/community\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/npl-3.jpg\" alt=\"npl\" width=\"1280\" height=\"720\" srcset=\"https:\/\/community.skin.club\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/npl-3.jpg 1280w, https:\/\/community.skin.club\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/npl-3-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/community.skin.club\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/npl-3-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/community.skin.club\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/npl-3-768x432.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Both npl and headtr1ck played key roles in B8\u2019s success, helping the team secure <\/span><b>5 online titles<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and reach <\/span><b>#18 in the HLTV rankings<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in <\/span><b>November 2024<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. His individual performance, along with his leadership, became one of the main reasons why B8 has emerged as a serious contender knocking on the door of Tier 1 tournaments. The team has <\/span><b>won 13 out of their last 15 Bo3s in 2025<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, showing steady improvement and leaving the disappointment of the NAVI days far behind.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Young, energetic, and battle-hardened with difficult yet invaluable Tier 1 experience from NAVI, npl has developed into a calm, calculated leader with a strong vision for the game. Much of the hype around the team has centered on their <\/span><b>AWP\/rifle duo of Maxim \u201ckyousuke\u201d Lukin <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and <\/span><b>Alimzhan \u201calkarenn\u201d Bitimbai<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
