Vitality, Team Falcons, MOUZ, and The MongolZ secured victories and advanced to the upper bracket finals of their groups, taking a confident step toward the playoffs. Meanwhile, the journey has come to an end for four teams \u2014 paiN, BIG, Virtus.pro, and SAW \u2014 who couldn\u2019t withstand the pressure of elimination matches and were knocked out of the tournament. The remaining teams now prepare for do-or-die battles in the lower bracket, where every round could be their last.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Vitality<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Vitality continue their pursuit of the Grand Slam, proving their excellent form by crushing Liquid. With dominant wins \u2014 13:5 on Mirage and 13:8 on the second map \u2014 they move on in the upper bracket, while Liquid fall to the lower bracket.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Top performer: flameZ \u2013 36 kills, 99.6 ADR, 1.44 rating<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Watch the clutch:<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"article__media y-red-dif-4\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/clips.twitch.tv\/embed?clip=TubularDrabDotterelNerfRedBlaster-7sSTzeE2cNA1UIYj&amp;parent=skin.club\" width=\"620\" height=\"378\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<h2><strong>Falcons<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Since signing m0NESY, Team Falcons have been gaining momentum. NAVI drop to the lower bracket and will face FlyQuest next.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Top performer: m0NESY \u2013 57 kills (33 with AWP), 86.8 ADR, 1.39 rating<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>MOUZ<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">MOUZ started strong with a 13:6 win on Inferno. The second map, Nuke, was much closer \u2014 both halves ended 6:6. But in overtime, GamerLegion couldn\u2019t keep up, losing 13:16. MOUZ move on, while GamerLegion fall out of the event.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>The MongolZ<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The MongolZ have been one of the biggest surprises of the tournament. Despite being underdogs, they confidently defeated FaZe 2:0. The first map, Dust2 \u2014 where the now-viral blooper happened \u2014 ended 13:8. In Group A, MOUZ will face the tournament\u2019s dark horses The MongolZ, who shocked everyone with their victory over FaZe.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In Group B, we\u2019re in for a top-tier showdown as Vitality take on Team Falcons. Both teams are in great form, and the winner will be seen as a strong favorite to take the championship.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Last Chance: Lower Bracket Matches<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The lower bracket of IEM Melbourne 2025 is heating up with intense elimination matches ahead \u2014 where every mistake could be fatal.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In Group A, the inconsistent yet dangerous FaZe will face the determined 3DMAX, who have already proven their fighting spirit. Meanwhile, GamerLegion will clash with Complexity in a high-stakes duel where both teams are desperate to stay alive in the tournament.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In Group B, a shaky but always dangerous NAVI will take on FlyQuest, who already eliminated Virtus.pro. Additionally, Liquid and MIBR \u2014 both hungry for redemption after painful losses \u2014 will battle it out in what promises to be an emotional and intense encounter. These matchups will be brutal and unforgiving \u2014 no one wants to exit this early.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Who\u2019s Out?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After the second day, four teams were eliminated from IEM Melbourne 2025. paiN were outclassed by Complexity, losing both maps without a fight. BIG came close against 3DMAX but couldn\u2019t hold on in overtime. Virtus.pro fell short against FlyQuest, unable to convert crucial rounds.
