One of the biggest surprises was NiP. The Swedish organization has struggled in recent years, but in Astana, they wrote a comeback story. After failing in three qualifiers, they finally claimed the one remaining slot through the closed qualifier. For the first time since 2022, NiP have made it to the playoffs of a major tournament. Standout players included sjuush, who joined the team recently and finished with a 1.28 rating, and r1nkle, who ended the group stage with a solid 1.20.<\/p>\n

Similarly, snax (GamerLegion) showed vintage form on Ancient vs. MIBR with a 24-11 scoreline and the same 1.87 rating. Meanwhile, HooXi had his best individual map in over a year, dropping a 28-22 performance on Dust2 versus Virtus.pro.<\/p>\n
