In a Brazilian quarterfinal derby, paiN defeated FURIA 2–1 to advance to the top 4 of the tournament. After a loss on Nuke, paiN confidently struck back on Anubis and clinched the victory in overtime on the decider — Inferno. In the next round, they will face either FaZe or The MongolZ, while FURIA’s journey at the tournament comes to an end.<\/p>

On Nuke, FURIA delivered a dominant performance, showing clean execution and full control as they defeated paiN 13:6. Despite it being paiN’s map pick, FURIA took charge in most rounds and left no openings for their opponents.<\/p>

paiN started Anubis strong, winning the first half 9:3. In the second half, they maintained control and continued to pressure FURIA. dav1deuS stood out with his aggressive plays, helping secure the map 13:8 and tie the series.<\/p>

Inferno 16:13<\/h2>

Inferno kicked off with a strong start from FURIA, who won six rounds in a row playing aggressive and confident CS. However, at 1:7, paiN turned the tide by winning a key round with Tec-9s and managed to close the half at a much more manageable 5:7 scoreline.<\/p>

In the second half, FURIA lost their grip and struggled to find impact on the T side, while paiN gained momentum. With clutch plays and strong control of key areas, paiN tied the score and forced overtime. There, they quickly closed out the map, winning four straight rounds to secure the series and their spot in the semifinals. They will face the winner of FaZe vs The MongolZ, as FURIA are eliminated from the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025.<\/p>
