Following the latest update to Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) from Valve, players have been reporting significant FPS drops, in some cases up to 40% of their usual performance. The issues began after the introduction of the animgraph update, which was intended to improve overall game performance and animation stability. However, the update had the opposite effect, causing noticeable FPS drops for many users and negatively affecting gameplay and the overall player experience.<\/p>

One of the first players to highlight the issue was fREQUENCYCS, a user on platform X. He noted that his FPS dropped significantly after the animgraph update:<\/p>
