The series started optimistically for Virtus.pro: on Inferno, they executed their game plan and confidently closed the map. However, on Mirage, communication issues and failed clutches proved decisive as MOUZ leveled the score. On the decider Overpass, the game was played on a knife\u2019s edge, where every mistake came at too high a cost. Perfecto admitted:<\/p>\n

I pushed through the smoke as we agreed, but the opponent was waiting. And there were a few such moments. In the end, they proved decisive.<\/p><\/div><\/blockquote>\n

MOUZ once again demonstrated why they are considered one of the most consistent teams in the world, while VP were eliminated from the tournament after just one match.<\/p>\n

Perfecto\u2019s words: progress or stagnation?<\/h3>\n

Despite the early exit, Perfecto does not see only negatives.<\/p>\n

We showed that we can play against any team. MOUZ is considered top-2 or top-3 in the world right now. I know we can play much better. This game doesn\u2019t mean anything yet \u2014 it will mean something when we start beating these opponents.<\/p><\/div><\/blockquote>\n

At the same time, he admits that he personally does not take satisfaction in simply putting up a \u201cgood fight\u201d:<\/p>\n

For me, you are either a winner or you are not. Maybe for the viewer we look a bit more interesting, but for me \u2014 this is not progress.<\/p><\/div><\/blockquote>\n

Perfecto also confirmed the team\u2019s ambitions: they aim to break into the world\u2019s top 5 and believe they can achieve it despite current struggles.<\/p>\n

  • Lack of practice, given the tight tournament schedule;<\/li>\n
  • Inconsistent decision-making (as seen on Mirage in this series);<\/li>\n
  • Outdated playstyle, which works against mid-tier teams but is too predictable against elite opposition.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    If VP don\u2019t change their approach, they risk being stuck for a long time in the \u201csecond-tier team\u201d category.<\/p>\n

    Community reaction<\/h3>\n

    On social media and HLTV, reactions to Perfecto\u2019s interview were sharply divided. Some fans supported the player, while others openly criticized Virtus.pro.<\/p>\n
