Following the club\u2019s official announcement about kicking three Ukrainian players for match-fixing and cheating, the esports athletes published their response and questioned the methods of the organization\u2019s internal investigation.<\/p>\n<h3>POLYGRAPH \u2014 JUST A FORMALITY?<\/h3>\n<p>The players claim that their contracts did not contain any clause about mandatory polygraph testing. According to them, they were simply confronted with the fact when a representative of the so-called \u201cSecurity Service\u201d wrote: \u201cYou need to take a polygraph in the next few days. When can I schedule you?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Although it was the first such experience for both, they agreed without hesitation. At the same time, suspicions arose: the proposed centers were too far away, and their request to take the test elsewhere was rejected with the argument: \u201cNo, it\u2019s impossible in another place. We work under contract with specific specialists.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>CONTRADICTIONS AND MISSING RESULTS<\/h3>\n<p>According to the players, they were never given the full polygraph results. The only thing they received was a screenshot with the wording: \u201cPsychophysiological reactions and emotional arousal were recorded, which may indicate a false answer.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, the team manager allegedly said that he did not have access to the full document but could \u201csend some answers via screenshots.\u201d Crickeyyy and Jackast call this absurd: \u201cAs a result, we still don\u2019t know which answers were considered truthful and which were not.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>SECRECY AND CONFIDENTIALITY?<\/h3>\n<p>Before the test, the players were assured that the polygraph was only for the club\u2019s \u201creputation protection\u201d and that the results would remain internal. But instead, the case instantly entered the public domain.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"custom-bq\"><div class=\"custom-bq-q\"><p>Why weren\u2019t the new players tested on a polygraph immediately before signing? If this is really about reputation, why are you making assumptions public? \u2014 Crickeyyy and Jackast ask.<\/p><\/div><\/blockquote>\n<h3>EVIDENCE AND DOUBTS<\/h3>\n<p>The players emphasized that they saved the full correspondence with management, and every response is backed by screenshots. They suggest that the club\u2019s motives are more about information effect than fairness: \u201cTwenty roster changes in half a year turned out to be not enough for them.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>WHAT\u2019S NEXT?<\/h3>\n<p>ALGO has forwarded the case to ESIC, but the stance of Crickeyyy and Jackast casts doubt on the reliability of the investigation itself. If their claims are confirmed, the situation may become not only disciplinary but also legal.
