Timur FL4MUS Marev is once again in the spotlight of the CS2 community. His story is a clear example of how quickly a player\u2019s career can change: from a breakout with GamerLegion to a short-lived but notable stint in Virtus.pro, and now an unexpected return to LAN with the 9BOOMPRO mix. For many, he is \u201cthe talent who couldn\u2019t handle the pressure,\u201d but FL4MUS himself insists this is only the beginning of his journey.<\/p>\n

From GamerLegion to Virtus.pro: A Path Cut Short<\/h3>\n

His signing with Virtus.pro was seen as a natural step forward. After impressive performances with GamerLegion, FL4MUS looked ready to cement himself at the Tier-1 level. But reality was harsher.<\/p>\n

I expected that I could be benched, because I wasn\u2019t showing my best level. Of course, I was sad, but it wasn\u2019t a shock, he explained.<\/p><\/div><\/blockquote>\n

The main issue was that VP put him into roles unfamiliar to him. FL4MUS didn\u2019t want to go into details: \u201cThere were many reasons, but I don\u2019t want to comment on them.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bench Time and New Priorities<\/h3>\n

After being sidelined, he tried to reorganize his life.<\/p>\n

I was putting all aspects of my life in order. Now I\u2019m back to intense practice, keeping my form, planning to stream more after this event. And I\u2019ll practice more to show that I\u2019m a fcking player,* said FL4MUS.<\/p><\/div><\/blockquote>\n

These words reflect his current mindset: not giving up, but using his bench time as a resource to grow.<\/p>\n

9BOOMPRO: A Mix Born from the Bench<\/h3>\n

His current team 9BOOMPRO is neither an academy project nor a club with long-term ambitions, but a mix of benched CIS players.<\/p>\n

We were sitting with Sanya [shalfey], invited the guys, everyone agreed \u2014 and that\u2019s how we came together. It was spontaneous, he recalled.<\/p><\/div><\/blockquote>\n

And their first win against Nemiga already proved that even a temporary lineup can be dangerous. \u201cI knew we could win. Here, there are no teams like Vitality or Spirit that are unbeatable. We can beat anyone,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

A Contract Until 2029: Trap or Opportunity?<\/h3>\n

Despite his current status, FL4MUS legally remains a Virtus.pro player, with a contract running until 2029. For a 21-year-old, that\u2019s a huge term \u2014 but he doesn\u2019t see it as a burden.<\/p>\n

I signed the contract consciously, I knew what I was getting into. I don\u2019t think it was a mistake. The contract doesn\u2019t pressure me. My task now is to practice and show myself. If I deserve a chance, I\u2019ll get it, he said.<\/p><\/div><\/blockquote>\n

A Second Chance?<\/h3>\n

Now the big question is whether FL4MUS can rise again. He\u2019s convinced he still has more to give.<\/p>\n

I want to play and I want to practice. This game makes my eyes light up, he says with a spark of passion.<\/p><\/div><\/blockquote>\n
