Instead of large-scale additions, the update focused on technical fixes and client stability:<\/p><ol>\n<li>Maps: Palacio, Rooftop, and Golden updated to the latest Community Workshop versions.<\/li>\n<li>Gameplay: reduced crosshair size for AUG and SG 553, added options to adjust zoom and thickness of sniper scopes.<\/li>\n<li>Visuals: added a letterbox effect for smoother camera transitions.<\/li>\n<li>Ballistics: fixed bugs with wallbangs.<\/li>\n<li>Stability: optimizations implemented for more stable game performance.<\/li>\n<li>Map scripts: several callback and weapon function issues (XM1014, Nova, Sawed-Off) were resolved.<\/li>\n<\/ol><h2><strong>COMMUNITY REACTION<\/strong><\/h2><ul class=\"article-list-pink\">\n<li class=\"article-list-pink__item\">Players immediately noted that this was not a &ldquo;big content update&rdquo; but rather technical support following the large patch. On social media, the community expressed mainly two viewpoints:<\/li>\n<li class=\"article-list-pink__item\">Positive: stability and fixes to wallbangs &mdash; exactly what had been long awaited. Players also appreciated the added customization for sniper scopes.<\/li>\n<li class=\"article-list-pink__item\">Negative: fans once again pointed to the &ldquo;eternal&rdquo; problems: lack of 128-tick servers, missing anti-cheat, bunny hop bugs, as well as demands to bring back Cache and Cobblestone.<\/li>\n<li class=\"article-list-pink__item\">There was also separate discussion about the stickers for the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025: some joked that &ldquo;the capsules are safe,&rdquo; while others hoped that this would actually be the main highlight of the update.<\/li>\n<\/ul><h2><strong>IN CONCLUSION<\/strong><\/h2><p>The mini-update of October 3 is more of a small &ldquo;cleanup&rdquo; after the big patch than a revolution.
