The third day of the Swiss Stage at PGL Masters Bucharest 2025 brought another dose of drama and major results. Portuguese side SAW battled their way to a hard-fought 2\u20131 victory over GamerLegion, while Heroic convincingly overpowered Aurora 2\u20130, securing an early ticket to the playoffs. Both series not only changed the tournament standings but also significantly impacted each team\u2019s position in the Valve Regional Standings (VRS).<\/p>\n

Road to Round 3 of the Swiss Stage<\/h3>\n

For SAW, this series became a defining moment \u2014 one that restored their confidence. After an unstable start that included a loss to 3DMAX and a rebound win over Ninjas in Pyjamas, the Portuguese squad showed they could still compete on the international stage. Led by aragornN and story, SAW rediscovered their rhythm and discipline.<\/p>\n

GamerLegion, in contrast, entered the match after a confident 2\u20130 win over FlyQuest but a narrow 1\u20132 loss to paiN. Yet once again, they failed to close out key moments. Despite strong individual numbers, the team struggled with consistency and clutch conversion \u2014 an issue that has haunted them since the summer.<\/p>\n

For Heroic, this day reaffirmed their resurgence. The refreshed Swedish lineup led by nilo and xfLoud delivered a commanding performance, sweeping Aurora 2\u20130 and becoming the first team to qualify for the playoffs. The Turkish side, meanwhile, suffered their first major defeat of the tournament.<\/p>\n\n
