Polish legend Wiktor \u201cTaZ\u201d Wojtas is once again in the spotlight. After finishing a packed season and parting ways with G2, he officially announced that he is ready to return to active work as a CS2 coach. The former Major champion and one of the symbols of Virtus.pro\u2019s \u201cgolden era\u201d calls the past year \u201cthe perfect introduction to coaching\u201d and is now openly looking for a new organization.<\/p>\n

End of the Season and a New Start<\/strong><\/h2>\n

After the BLAST Rivals final, TaZ noted that the current season was one of the most eventful in recent years: intense series, Vitality returning to trophy contention, and FURIA\u2019s incredible form. In his opinion, the upcoming Major promises to be exceptionally spectacular \u2014 teams are finally driven not only by tactics and meta, but also by genuine competitive hunger.<\/p>\n

Riding this wave of enthusiasm, the Pole announced the end of the first stage of his coaching career and stated he is ready for a new challenge. He emphasized that he works without an agent, meaning he handles all negotiations himself, and he is confident he can help any roster rise to a new level. Over years as both player and coach, TaZ learned not only how to build team structure and coaching staff, but also how to identify talent, surround it with the right environment, and maintain a healthy atmosphere within the lineup.<\/p>\n\n

Experience with G2: Trophies, Pressure, and an Accelerated Course in CS2<\/strong><\/h2>\n

G2 became Wojtas\u2019 first international team, where he worked in English and immediately stepped into the heart of the tier-one scene. Over a year and a half, he guided the roster through the transition to CS2, a results crisis, and role restructuring, while still managing to build an impressive r\u00e9sum\u00e9: three major LAN titles, including the BLAST World Final 2024, as well as two Major semifinal appearances.<\/p>\n

In his interviews, TaZ repeatedly emphasized that his main task in G2 was not to write yet another \u201cmeta\u201d tactical playbook, but to bring order to internal relationships, help stars like NiKo and m0NESY adapt to CS2, and restore belief in the system. He worked extensively on team routines, bootcamp approach, player motivation during long seasons, and learned to distribute his influence between analytics, strat-building, and mental coaching.<\/p>\n

Despite a challenging 2025, the Austin Major became the last chapter of G2\u2019s shared journey, after which the organization chose to rebuild both roster and coaching staff. For TaZ himself, this did not feel like an ending but more like the completion of an \u201cinternship\u201d \u2014 now he wants to apply the experience he has accumulated to a new project.<\/p>\n

Season end means new adventures. I\u2019m ready for my next challenge as a CS2 coach.
