<\/p>\nAfter a tough loss to Fnatic and a strong bounce-back victory over FlyQuest, Filip \u201cGraviti\u201d Brankovi\u0107 from 3DMAX sat down with us for an exclusive interview at the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025. He broke down what went wrong on CT side, explained the team\u2019s struggles and quick recovery, discussed map choices on Inferno, and opened up about leadership style, burnout, and preparation ahead of the Major.<\/p>\n
We made too many individual mistakes, and the game just went fast. We weren\u2019t killing them when we needed to kill them. And they weren\u2019t bad, to be honest.
They played really well against us, so they were just better, I think.<\/p>\n
I don\u2019t know. We still have to talk about it. Maybe we played too aggressively when we should\u2019ve played default, and maybe too passive when we should\u2019ve been aggressive.
We don\u2019t fully understand it yet. We\u2019ll work on it \u2014 it\u2019s the second time we\u2019ve had this issue. We need to talk it through as a team.<\/p>\n
To be honest, nothing. We were just better. We killed them when we needed to kill them, and they weren\u2019t as good \u2014 unlike Fnatic.<\/p>\n
No, I wasn\u2019t surprised because Inferno is also a good map for FlyQuest and Fnatic. We played against them in practice \u2014 they even beat us \u2014 so maybe that\u2019s why they chose it. But honestly, I wasn\u2019t surprised. We were ready for it.<\/p>\n

I think the one who stepped up the most is exercise.
But I think he can be even better than he is right now. Give him a bit more time and he\u2019ll improve even more.<\/p>\n
We just try to stay normal. If you\u2019re messed up after one loss \u2014 it\u2019s a Major. You can\u2019t tilt because of one match. You need to focus on yourself. Of course we were mad, but not fully tilted. We knew we had another game to play today.<\/p>\n
I don\u2019t know. I\u2019m young, so maybe a bit aggressive. I play a lot of FACEIT, so yeah \u2014 maybe a bit aggressive. I don\u2019t respect the opponents.<\/p>\n
I don\u2019t know. BO1s are part of the Major. Of course it\u2019s risky, but it\u2019s also fun because you can surprise opponents \u2014 like we did in 2024 during the RMR in Shanghai. We couldn\u2019t have done that without BO1s. So there\u2019s a good side to it.<\/p>\n
First of all, we took some rest because we were really tired. We worked a lot from home and prepared a lot for this Major. We improved our maps, added new strategies, new tricks, new smokes we never showed before\u00a0 That\u2019s it.<\/p>\n
It was difficult. I think we were in burnout, to be honest. What we did \u2014 three trips to China, then Europe \u2014 it was impossible to keep up. We didn\u2019t manage it. We messed up in Bucharest and Chengdu because it was just too much. So we took good rest, worked from home, saw family \u2014 and that helped.<\/p>\n
