Michael \u201cGrim\u201d Wince has officially joined NRG<\/a>. The North American organization announced the signing just ahead of ESL Pro League Season 23 Stage 1, where the team will play its opening match against HEROIC on March 1. The announcement came less than 24 hours after Grim was benched by Passion UA. As a result, his period of uncertainty was extremely short, with NRG quickly finalizing a move that had already been linked to the organization in media reports nearly two weeks earlier.<\/p>\n

Grim joins NRG after several years spent within a familiar core. For four seasons, he played alongside Johnny \u201cJT\u201d Theodosiou and Tiaan \u201cT.c\u201d Coertzen in Complexity and later in Passion UA. During that time, the coaching staff led by T.c played a significant role in his development as a structured, reliable rifler.<\/p>\n

His recent benching in Passion UA followed the arrival of Azbayar \u201cSenzu\u201d Munkhbold and aligned with Grim\u2019s own desire to return to North America. For the player, the move represents not only a new competitive challenge but also the opportunity to be closer to family and practice full-time in the NA region.<\/p>\n\n

Who Grim replaces in NRG<\/h3>\n

While NRG did not specify in their official announcement whose spot Grim would take, head coach Damian \u201cdaps\u201d Steele had previously clarified the situation. In a podcast appearance, he confirmed that Grim would replace Jeorge \u201cJeorge\u201d Endicott, who moves to the bench.<\/p>\n
