Mindfreak player Matthew \u201cTexta\u201d O\u2019Rourke has received a six-month ban for violating conduct rules.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Background<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>LAN tournaments are traditionally considered the most intense events in esports, as matches are played offline and player emotions often run higher than in typical online games. For this reason, organizers of major tournaments pay special attention to disciplinary rules and participant safety.<\/p>\n<p>The DFRAG Wildcard LAN organizer also follows a strict policy regarding physical aggression and behavioral violations during competitions.
