The main news for players is that Cache is now available in matchmaking, but the update does not stop there: every user has had their Elo reset, new seasonal rewards and badges have been added, and the functionality of profiles and match pages has been expanded.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Cache has officially entered the new season<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The most noticeable change of the season is, of course, the addition of Cache. After the voting process and the whole preparation campaign, the map has finally officially become part of the new season on FACEIT, and it can now already appear in matchmaking.<\/p>\n<p>For the community, this is one of the most anticipated developments of the season. Cache is a map with a very active fan base of its own, so its return to the pool will definitely become one of the main topics of the coming weeks. Now everyone needs to complete 10 placement matches to receive a new starting rating.<\/p>\n<p>And this is probably the second biggest change after Cache. The season effectively begins from an almost clean sheet, which means the coming days on the platform will be as chaotic as possible. Placement always mixes different levels of play, old ranks temporarily lose their meaning, and that is why the start of a new season is almost guaranteed to be highly turbulent.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Premium now gives even more practical bonuses<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>For FACEIT Premium users, another useful tool has been added \u2014 match analysis directly on the game page. This is no longer just a cosmetic bonus, but a function that can genuinely affect the everyday experience of active players on the platform.<\/p>\n<p>This is especially important for those who play a lot and want to quickly review what exactly happened in a given match without constantly jumping between third-party services. For FACEIT, this is a good move: Premium is increasingly being sold not just through status, but through convenience and added usefulness.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Rating visibility has become more open<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Another change that affects all users is the addition of visible ratings for each player. Now all players receive rewards for completing them, while Premium unlocks access to additional bonuses.<\/p>\n<p>A particularly interesting detail is that if a user subscribes to Premium later, they will immediately be able to receive all accumulated Premium rewards for the part they have already completed. This is a very clear move toward monetization without harsh FOMO pressure: the service is effectively telling players that they do not have to subscribe immediately, but they still will not lose what they have already earned.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Seasonal badges are another layer of progression<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>On top of everything else, FACEIT have introduced seasonal badges for all players.
