In the playoffs, there are almost no matches where the favorite can afford a long warm-up. One strong stretch immediately changes the course of the entire series, and control over the tempo quickly turns into control over the team\u2019s tournament fate.<\/p>\n

Tournament context<\/strong><\/h2>\n

After the Swiss stage, PGL Astana 2026 moved into a single-elimination Bo3 playoff bracket. At this stage, every match carries maximum value: a win sends a team to the semi-finals, while a loss means immediate elimination from the tournament.<\/p>\n
