According to a report from French insider<\/a> Guillaume \u201cKRL\u201d Rathier, Gentle Mates are preparing to leave the Counter-Strike scene less than a year after entering the game. Team Heretics, Movistar KOI, and GiantX are reportedly interested in acquiring the Spanish roster.<\/p>\n

The rumors began after KRL reported that Gentle Mates were considering leaving Counter-Strike. French content creator Varizan later explained several reasons behind the decision.<\/p>\n

He noted that building an international brand around a fully Spanish lineup proved difficult. The organization also chose to stay away from some of Counter-Strike\u2019s traditional sponsors, limiting commercial opportunities. In addition, the team\u2019s results did not meet expectations.<\/p>\n

Varizan believes the move could benefit the organization in the long run. He also suggested that Gentle Mates might return to Counter-Strike in the future with a different strategy.<\/p>\n\n
