The Pick\u2019Em champion, who claimed the legendary AWP | Dragon Lore as the grand prize, spoke about the prediction that surprised him the most, explained why he backed Falcons to win the Major, revealed the biggest mistakes participants make, and reflected on the emotions of finishing ahead of thousands of competitors.<\/p>\n<h3>Which prediction surprised you the most?<\/h3>\n<p>Although every correct prediction counted toward his final score, there was one that even Canax never expected to get completely right.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"custom-bq\"><div class=\"custom-bq-q\"><p>The prediction that surprised me the most was probably my playoff bracket. I also spent around 10 hours analyzing their matchup against Vitality and reviewing their previous head-to-head games before making my decision.<\/p><\/div><\/blockquote>\n<h3>What\u2019s the biggest mistake people make in Pick\u2019Em?<\/h3>\n<p>According to Canax, many participants focus too much on overall rankings instead of considering how teams actually perform against one another.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"custom-bq\"><div class=\"custom-bq-q\"><p>Many people simply think: \u2018Vitality are winning everything, so I\u2019ll pick them.\u2019 But you need to understand how teams match up against each other and what form they\u2019re in coming into the Major. Roster changes and recent performances matter much more than people think.<\/p><\/div><\/blockquote>\n<p>When asked for one piece of advice for future participants, his answer was simple.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"custom-bq\"><div class=\"custom-bq-q\"><p>Just follow your gut.<\/p><\/div><\/blockquote>\n<h3>Winning the Pick\u2019Em or winning the Dragon Lore?<\/h3>\n<p>The moment the Major concluded turned into one of the most memorable experiences of Canax\u2019s life.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"custom-bq\"><div class=\"custom-bq-q\"><p>Skin.Club Pick\u2019Em, without a doubt. When Falcons won the Major, I opened the leaderboard and saw myself in first place. That was probably the biggest adrenaline rush I\u2019ve ever had.<\/p><\/div><\/blockquote>\n<p>He also revealed that the first people to learn about his victory were his childhood friends.<\/p>\n<h3>What happens to the Dragon Lore?<\/h3>\n<p>Despite winning one of Counter-Strike\u2019s most iconic skins, Canax says he still hasn\u2019t decided what to do with it.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"custom-bq\"><div class=\"custom-bq-q\"><p>Honestly, I still don\u2019t know. I still can\u2019t believe I actually won it.<\/p><\/div><\/blockquote>\n<p>Interestingly, the Dragon Lore wasn\u2019t even the main motivation for entering the competition.<\/p>\n<p>I never really thought I\u2019d win a Dragon Lore. I was mostly playing to see how many points I could score.
