FaZe may have considered more candidates than previously known during its search for a new AWPer. CS insider Vladislav Gromov<\/a> claims the organization pursued not only Jonas \u201cJBOEN\u201d Bock from BIG Academy but also former Passion UA sniper Santino \u201ctry\u201d Rigal. He also reports that FaZe explored signing several Astralis players during a potential international rebuild last year. Neither FaZe nor Astralis has confirmed these claims.<\/p>\n

Insider reveals FaZe\u2019s reported transfer shortlist<\/h3>\n

FaZe officially signed JBOEN on loan from BIG Academy until the end of 2026. Shortly after the announcement, CIS insider Vladislav Gromov shared new details about the team\u2019s transfer plans. According to Gromov, FaZe also considered Argentine AWPer Santino \u201ctry\u201d Rigal. The sniper recently returned to Imperial\u2019s bench after his transfer to Passion UA collapsed. Recent reports have also linked him with a move to Legacy.<\/p>\n

The insider added that FaZe evaluated an even bigger roster overhaul last summer. He claims the organization explored buying out several Astralis players. At the same time, Astralis reportedly discussed switching to an international lineup.<\/p>\n

FaZe, in addition to the JBOEN, were interested in the \ud83c\udde6\ud83c\uddf7 try. Moreover, last summer they looked into buying out several players from \ud83c\udde9\ud83c\uddf0 Astralis \u2013 the organization itself was already considering an international lineup then.<\/p><\/div><\/blockquote>\n

Neither FaZe nor Astralis has commented on Gromov\u2019s report.<\/p>\n\n

Community backs the JBOEN signing<\/h3>\n

The rumor quickly sparked discussion across the Counter-Strike community. Some fans wondered whether FaZe included a buyout option in JBOEN\u2019s loan agreement. Others focused on the sporting side of the move and supported the decision. Former M80 player Michael \u201cthomaz\u201d Costa wrote:<\/p>\n
