CS2 analyst Jesper \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/JesperLarsen222\/status\/2082575578717134902?s=20\">Udknud<\/a>\u201d Larsen published updated simulations that estimate where teams are most likely to finish after running 10,000 Monte Carlo simulations. According to Larsen, the tournament has unfolded almost exactly as expected. Because of that, only the remaining LAN playoff matches can significantly change the rankings. Earlier unexpected results created uncertainty, but most of those scenarios have now disappeared.<\/p>\n<h3>Spirit are locked in at No. 1<\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_412606\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-412606\" style=\"width: 1034px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-412606\" src=\"https:\/\/community.skin.club\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Screenshot_512.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"1034\" height=\"904\" srcset=\"https:\/\/community.skin.club\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Screenshot_512.webp 1034w, https:\/\/community.skin.club\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Screenshot_512-300x262.webp 300w, https:\/\/community.skin.club\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Screenshot_512-1024x895.webp 1024w, https:\/\/community.skin.club\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Screenshot_512-768x671.webp 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1034px) 100vw, 1034px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-412606\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo Copyright by Udknud<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The updated projections indicate that Spirit will almost certainly remain the world\u2019s No. 1 team regardless of the BLAST Bounty playoff results.<\/p>\n<p>Several other teams can still improve their position with a deep run:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"article-list-pink\">\n<li class=\"article-list-pink__item\">Falcons are expected to stay No. 2.<\/li>\n<li class=\"article-list-pink__item\">9z are projected to finish between 3rd and 4th.<\/li>\n<li class=\"article-list-pink__item\">Vitality should remain in 4th-5th.<\/li>\n<li class=\"article-list-pink__item\">NAVI are expected to occupy 5th-6th.<\/li>\n<li class=\"article-list-pink__item\">MOUZ can finish anywhere from 3rd to 10th.<\/li>\n<li class=\"article-list-pink__item\">The MongolZ still have a wide range of possible outcomes, from 3rd to 16th.<\/li>\n<li class=\"article-list-pink__item\">FaZe can finish between 6th and 16th.<\/li>\n<li class=\"article-list-pink__item\">Astralis still have a chance to climb as high as 10th but could also remain outside the top 20.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Larsen noted that his model includes prize pool points. The loss reduced the team\u2019s chances of collecting valuable VRS points and weakened its position for future Tier 1 invitations.<\/p>\n<p>Larsen addressed the topic on X after fans asked about FUT\u2019s situation. He believes the team will probably miss the next ESL Pro League.
