BC.Game have once again become a topic of discussion after the ranking update. The team climbed quickly in the Valve Ranking. For a roster with s1mple, electroNic, Magisk, Senzu, and mzinho, this looks like the first positive signal after a long period of instability.<\/p>\n

The first jump in the ranking<\/strong><\/h2>\n

According to the available data, BC.Game climbed from #223 to #175 in the Valve Ranking in half a day. Formally, this is a very noticeable jump \u2014 plus 48 positions, which is exactly why the club\u2019s reaction looked emotional. After all the jokes about the roster, expenses, and lack of major results, the organization finally got a reason to talk about moving forward.<\/p>\n

But it is important not to overestimate the number itself. #175 is still a very distant position from the zone that realistically gives chances for the Major. In other words, BC.Game are no longer standing still, but for now this is more of a starting impulse than a full return to the race.<\/p>\n\n

The new roster is only starting to find form<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The current version of BC.Game looks much louder than the previous ones. The roster features s1mple, electroNic, Magisk, Senzu, and mzinho, with TaZ as the coach. On paper, this is a very strong combination of experience, individual class, and young aggression.<\/p>\n

The problem is that this roster has almost no shared history. Magisk and mzinho have played only a few maps, Senzu also joined the project relatively recently, and the team has gone through many changes over the past year. That is why the current ranking shows not the roster\u2019s real ceiling, but how far they still need to go.<\/p>\n

The wins are already there, but the level of opponents matters<\/strong><\/h2>\n

BC.Game\u2019s latest matches gave them a positive impulse. The team defeated HAVU with a 13:9 score and ROUNDS with a 13:5 score in Elisa Esports BreakOut Series 1. This allowed them to break a bad streak and show at least basic stability against available opponents.<\/p>\n

However, this will not be enough for serious growth in VRS. The ranking system rewards victories over higher-status teams much more strongly. If BC.Game simply keep beating lower-ranked or unranked rosters, there will be progress, but it will be slow. For a real leap, they need victories over teams like paiN, Falcons, B8, or stronger opponents at tournaments with proper weight.<\/p>\n

The main problem is stability<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Over the last three months, BC.Game have a 33.3% win rate. This is the key number that explains why the team is still so low. Even with big names on the roster, the ranking does not grow by itself \u2014 it has to be backed up by winning streaks.<\/p>\n

It is especially telling that among the latest results, alongside two wins, there are losses to paiN, Falcons, and B8. These are exactly the matches that could have given the team much more ranking weight, but for now BC.Game lack the stability to convert individual class into regular results.<\/p>\n

Is there a chance for the Major?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Theoretically, there is a chance, but right now it looks very difficult. The climb to #175 is only the first step, not a real entry into the Major race. To get closer to the needed zone, BC.Game must not just win individual matches, but quickly build streaks at ranked tournaments.<\/p>\n

The most important thing for them is to avoid losses to weaker teams. For a roster with such a low ranking, every slip-up against an outsider can hurt their progress badly. At the same time, every victory over a higher-seeded team can bring much more than an ordinary match in a tier-2 or tier-3 bracket.<\/p>\n\n

BC.Game received<\/a> a positive signal in VRS, but it is still too early to talk about a full Major race. The team has big names, an experienced coach, two wins in a row, and a noticeable jump in the ranking.
