This ended a seven-year absence from the game. As part of the move, the organization signed three players on free transfers after their Monte contracts expired: Bymas, Aur\u00e9lien \u201cafro\u201d Drapier, and Oscar \u201cAZUWU\u201d Bell.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Aleks \u201cRainwaker\u201d Petrov joined the same lineup through a buyout, since his Monte deal had not yet ended. In addition, Brazilian Lucas \u201clux\u201d Meneghini completed the roster as in-game leader. He arrived from Legacy to replace former Monte captain Jack \u201cGizmy\u201d von Spreckelsen.<\/p>\n<h2>Two Months, Zero Wins<\/h2>\n<p>The results have not matched the hype. Across the team\u2019s tracked matches over the past year, Luminosity holds a record of 0 wins and 5 losses, according to match data.<\/p>\n<p>The losses include a 0-1 defeat to Nemesis and a 0-1 loss to Lynn Vision. The team also fell 1-2 to Ninjas in Pyjamas. In addition, Luminosity lost two straight matches to Spirit and GamerLegion at the Esports World Cup 2026. As a result, the roster has claimed just one map win in two months.<\/p>\n<p>Individual stats tell a similar story. Over the team\u2019s most recent stretch of 8 maps, captain lux posted the best rating on the roster at 1.04. Meanwhile, afro finished at 0.89, AZUWU at 0.86, Bymas at 0.84, and Rainwaker at 0.82. In addition, one player was already dropped from the roster after only two tournaments. This underscores how unstable the project has been so far.<\/p>\n<h2>Bymas Speaks On The Move<\/h2>\n<p>Bymas confirmed his benching and thanked the organization directly:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"custom-bq\"><div class=\"custom-bq-q\"><p>As of today, I have been moved to the bench and am allowed to explore my options. I\u2019m very grateful for the opportunity to represent such an organization and I really wish the guys nothing but the best going forward. These guys were like family to me and I genuinely enjoyed spending time with all of them. I\u2019m disappointed that I couldn\u2019t perform at the level I wanted to in officials lately. I\u2019m going to work hard to become the player I know I can be. I\u2019m hungry and determined and will come back stronger.
