Analyst MischiefCS2 has released an updated Valve Regional Standings (VRS) projection dated September 1, 2026, and it shows a region that, unlike Europe, is settling into a fairly predictable order. That stability itself is the interesting part, because it hints at which teams can already relax and which ones are still fighting over a handful of remaining spots.<\/p>\n

Why does this matter to fans? Because the PGL Singapore Major, running from November 25 to December 13, 2026, will decide who gets to compete for a share of the $1.25 million prize pool at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. Every percentage point in these projections represents a team\u2019s real chance of walking onto that stage.<\/p>\n

Why VRS Predictions Matter Right Now<\/h2>\n

The VRS system ranks teams using their tournament results over a rolling period, and it directly determines Major qualification slots by region. Unlike Europe, where big \u201cswing events\u201d regularly confirm or shuffle team lists and create volatility, the Americas region lacks these kingmaker tournaments. The Current Standings Breakdown<\/h2>\n

At the top of the table, FURIA and Legacy each sit at a 99.99% chance of qualifying, with an expected final ranking between 1st and 3rd in the Americas region. Just behind them, 9z Team also holds a 99.99% chance, projected to finish between 2nd and 4th.<\/p>\n

Team Liquid follows with a 99.5% probability and an expected range of 4th to 6th, while MIBR sits at 95.4%, projected between 4th and 8th. PaiN Gaming and DENDELE CS are both hovering in the low 80s, at 82.6% and 81.3% respectively, each with an expected range of 5th to 11th.<\/p>\n

M80\u2019s chances dropped to 77.6%, with an expected finish between 6th and 11th. MischiefCS2 attributed this to the team narrowly missing an extra win at a tournament in Porto, along with changes affecting Imperial Esports and other North American teams. NRG rounds out the group of teams currently predicted to qualify, sitting at 51.2% with a wide expected range of 6th to 15th.<\/p>\n

Below the qualification line, a generic \u201cWildcard\u201d slot for unconfirmed Americas teams carries a 28.1% chance, followed by Fluxo W7M at 22.1% and Imperial Esports at 21.8%. MischiefCS2 noted that Imperial had been mistakenly left off an earlier version of the model tied to a tournament referred to as FERJEE, an error now corrected.<\/p>\n

Further down, BESTIA sits at 13.2%, ShindeN at 7.6%, and LargadosyPelados at 4.8%. Three teams round out the newest additions to the board: SBE at 3.8%, WaR at 2.5%, and Life\u2019s A Game (LAG) also at 2.5%, all clustered in a projected range roughly between 11th and 32nd. Team Voca closes the individual list at 1.3%, and all remaining Americas teams share a combined 4.8% chance.<\/p>\n

What Changed After FRAG<\/h2>\n

The tournament called FRAG played a direct role in this update. Life\u2019s A Game recently won FRAG, but MischiefCS2 pointed out that this alone was not enough to lift them past the teams ranked 2nd and 3rd in that event. Their final Major-qualification odds still depend heavily on how the broader ranking anchor settles, and the model treats the gap between 2.5% and 3.5% as functionally meaningless at this stage.<\/p>\n

SBE\u2019s placement assumes the team will also compete in two more upcoming events, referred to in the notes as FRAG and NSTLGA. BESTIA, meanwhile, has not lost ground through its own results; rather, rival teams fighting for the same spots have started confirming trips to European tournaments, which shifts the competitive balance without BESTIA doing anything differently.<\/p>\n

MischiefCS2 also flagged longer-shot contenders worth watching, including Galorys, Marsborne, and Bounty Hunters, describing them as teams with a real but currently \u201coff-screen\u201d chance.
