FISSURE Playground 3 moves to the Semi-finals, where BETBOOM will face G2 for a place in the Grand Final. The series will be played in a Bo3 format: the winner will continue the fight for the title, while the losing team will end its run at the tournament. G2 approach the match as the seventh-ranked team in the world and on a four-match winning streak, while BETBOOM sit in 16th place but have yet to lose a map in Suzhou.<\/p>\n

FISSURE PLAYGROUND 3 PLAYOFFS \u2014 SEMI-FINAL WITH NO SECOND CHANCE<\/h2>\n

The FISSURE Playground 3 Playoffs are played in a Single Elimination format. The Semi-finals are Bo3, so the winner of BETBOOM vs G2 will directly advance to the Grand Final, while the tournament will end for the losing team.<\/p>\n

BETBOOM earned a direct place in the Semi-finals by winning the upper bracket of Group A. G2 had a much longer route, recovering from an opening loss to Astralis before winning four consecutive matches and eliminating FURIA 2:0 in the Quarter-final.<\/p>\n\n

HEAD-TO-HEAD \u2014 G2 LEAD, BUT EVERY SERIES WENT TO THREE MAPS<\/h2>\n

BETBOOM and G2 have met three times in 2026, with G2 holding a 5:4 advantage in maps and a 2:1 lead in series.<\/p>\n

Their first meeting came at Radio Popular Roman Imperium Cup VII, where BETBOOM won 2:1 after taking Mirage and Anubis. Just a few days later, G2 responded with two 2:1 victories at Stake Ranked Episode 1 \u2014 first in the Upper bracket Semi-final and then again in the Grand Final.<\/p>\n

All three series required a deciding map, which shows how competitive this matchup has been despite the difference in the current world ranking.<\/p>\n

CURRENT FORM<\/h2>\n

BETBOOM \u2014 perfect map record at FISSURE Playground 3<\/p>\n

BETBOOM have been one of the most convincing teams at the tournament. They defeated BIG, Astralis and MIBR with 2:0 scores and enter the Semi-final with a perfect 6:0 map record.<\/p>\n

Kirill \u201cMagnojez\u201d Rodnov remains the main individual performer with a 1.18 Rating 3.0 across 29 maps over the last three months. Daniil \u201cd1Ledez\u201d Kustov also delivered a strong performance against MIBR, finishing the series with a 1.31 rating.<\/p>\n

G2 \u2014 four wins in a row after the opening loss<\/p>\n

G2 started FISSURE Playground 3 with a 1:2 defeat against Astralis but have not lost a series since. They defeated BIG 2:1, 9z 2:1 and 5star 2:0 before eliminating FURIA 2:0 in the Quarter-final.<\/p>\n

Against FURIA, G2 survived a close 16:14 Ancient before completely controlling Dust2 13:3. Nikita \u201cHeavyGod\u201d Martynenko remains the strongest player statistically over the last three months with a 1.15 Rating 3.0 across 53 maps.<\/p>\n

    • BETBOOM have a clear reason to remove Inferno. They have not played the map during the presented period, while G2 hold an 82% win rate across 11 maps. Inferno is by far the biggest statistical advantage for G2.<\/li>\n
    • G2 should continue removing Nuke. They have not played it over the last three months, while BETBOOM have a six-map sample and a 33% win rate. G2 also consistently removed Nuke in the previous meetings between these teams.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Likely maps:<\/p>\n

      • Ancient looks like one of the strongest options for BETBOOM. They have an 83% win rate across six maps compared to 50% for G2, giving BETBOOM their biggest advantage among the maps likely to survive the opening bans.<\/li>\n
      • G2 may answer with Mirage. Their 78% win rate across nine maps makes it one of their strongest remaining options, although BETBOOM are also very comfortable there at 80%.<\/li>\n

          G2 have the higher world ranking, a four-match winning streak and arrive after an impressive 2:0 victory over FURIA. Mirage remains a strong option for them, while HeavyGod and MATYS provide enough individual firepower to make the series competitive even if the veto is not ideal.<\/p>\n

          BETBOOM, however, have been more stable throughout FISSURE Playground 3.
