What Was at Stake in the Lower Bracket<\/h2>

The match was a best-of-three series played on LAN in the StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2026 playoffs. In the lower bracket, one loss ends a team’s run. Therefore, the winner would reach the lower bracket semifinal, while the loser would go home.<\/p>

Mirage was MIBR’s pick, but magic won it. The team took the first half 7-5. Then the second half stayed even at 6-6, which gave magic a 13-11 victory. Therefore, the series went to a third map.<\/p>

MVP: insani Leads MIBR<\/h2>

Felipe “insani” Yuji was the best player of the match. He finished with a 1.45 Rating 3.0, a 63-42 kill-death record, 102.9 ADR and 75.8% KAST. His swing was +2.87%. In addition, he was the only player in the series with more than 100 ADR.<\/p>

His teammates also played well. Tomas “tomaszin” Corna posted a 1.31 rating with a 53-40 record and a +3.02% swing. Meanwhile, Lucas “nqz” Soares added a 1.14 rating with 53-39. On the losing side, Abdurakhim “mo0N” Issa matched insani with 63 kills and finished with a 1.34 rating. His +4.17% swing was the highest in the match. However, no other magic player went above a 1.01 rating.<\/p>

MIBR Climb, magic Drop<\/h2>

magic started the match with 1445 points at #18. They lost 12 points, so they now have 1433 points. As a result, they fell three places and now sit at #21.<\/p>

MIBR started with 1500 points at #14. They earned 30 points for the win, which brings them to 1530 points. Therefore, they moved up one place to #13.<\/p>

What the Result Means for Both Teams<\/h2>

With this win, MIBR reached the lower bracket semifinal. There, they will face the loser of the NRG vs Aurora match. MIBR also gained ground in the VRS ranking, so the result helped them both in the bracket and in the standings.<\/p>

For magic, the tournament ends in 7th-8th place. They earn $5,000 + $5,000 for that finish. However, the loss also cost them three places in the VRS ranking, and they now sit outside the top 20.<\/p>

In the end, MIBR won two maps by the same 13-8 score. magic’s Mirage win showed they could compete, but they could not repeat it on Ancient or Inferno. Finally, the numbers show a clear gap in team-wide support. insani, tomaszin and nqz all finished above a 1.10 rating for MIBR, while mo0N was the only magic player to do so.<\/p>
