Legacy have announced that Andrei “arT” Piovezan will miss ESL Pro League Season 24 after being diagnosed with meningitis. The team captain is under medical care and is expected to remain sidelined for at least 10 days, with Pedro “bobz” Rocha set to replace him in Katowice.<\/p>

Legacy said the health of arT is the priority and that the organization will provide further updates on his recovery.<\/p>

bobz will stand in for arT<\/h2>

bobz will step into the starting lineup for ESL Pro League Season 24.<\/p>

The 27-year-old has not played regularly for a professional team since 2024, when he represented MIBR Academy. Since then, he has worked behind the scenes, including spells as an assistant coach with Fluxo and Yawara, before joining Legacy as an analyst.<\/p>

Legacy will compete at the tournament with:<\/p>

    Legacy lose their IGL after strong recent run<\/h2>

    The absence comes during one of the strongest periods of the season for Legacy.<\/p>

    The team won FISSURE Playground 3 earlier in September, sweeping G2 3:0 in the Grand Final to claim the $165,000 first-place prize. The result followed another deep international run at Esports World Cup 2026, where Legacy finished third.<\/p>

    arT has been the in-game leader of the lineup throughout that run, meaning Legacy will have to adjust both the five-player roster and the calling structure for Katowice.<\/p>

    Legacy have not announced who will take over the IGL responsibilities while arT is unavailable.<\/p>

    ESL Pro League Season 24 begins October 3<\/h2>

    ESL Pro League Season 24 will take place in Katowice from October 3–11, with 16 teams competing for a $1 million prize pool. Legacy are part of the tournament field alongside Spirit, Vitality, Falcons, G2, FURIA and other top teams.<\/p>

    Legacy said arT should remain out for at least 10 days, which rules him out of the start of the event. The organization has not given a date for his return beyond that recovery estimate.<\/p>
