The playoffs of Thunderpick World Championship 2026 leave teams with only one chance to reach the tournament’s main match. In the semi-finals, the ability to quickly take control of a series becomes especially important, as there is no longer an opportunity to recover from an unsuccessful match through the lower bracket.

FURIA and Aurora met in the first Semi-finals matchup. The Brazilian roster took the opponent’s pick on Dust2 and then extended their advantage on their own Inferno, finishing the series without needing the decisive Nuke.
