After Belgrade, we had a serious conversation, and I realized I needed to change my approach. Now I have FL1T, HObbit, and Jame \u2014 three experienced players with whom I can share some of the responsibility.<\/p><\/div><\/blockquote>\n
This factor significantly distinguishes the current PARIVISION from previous versions of the team. In the past, the coach had to exercise much greater control over younger players, whereas now the roster\u2019s veterans can take on some of the responsibility for discipline and internal communication.<\/p>\n

I feel that now everyone on the team can speak up, explain what\u2019s happening around them, and we understand the game better. Maybe we\u2019ve lost a little in pure firepower on the T side, but we can play better in the future.<\/p><\/div><\/blockquote>\n
For PARIVISION, this could be an important step toward consistency. The team have already demonstrated that they can deliver strong Counter-Strike in decisive matches, but their main challenge has been maintaining that level from one tournament to the next.<\/p>\n

Why dastan uses timeouts so early<\/strong><\/h2>\nThe match against G2 revealed another characteristic of dastan\u2019s coaching: he used tactical timeouts very actively at the beginning of maps. On Dust2, PARIVISION had already used all their available timeouts by the time the score reached 6:2, while on Ancient, they used them all within the first six rounds.<\/p>\n
If I see something going wrong, I try to control the beginning because pistol rounds and early rounds have a huge impact on the result. I simply call a timeout whenever I feel it\u2019s necessary.<\/p><\/div><\/blockquote>\n
Even when G2 began mounting a comeback on Ancient, dastan did not regret using those timeouts. In his opinion, after building a 10:2 lead, the players should be able to close out the map themselves and take responsibility for finishing the match.<\/p>\n
