Mareks “YEKINDAR” Gaļinskis is a professional Counter-Strike player from Latvia. Born on Oct 04, 1999, he currently represents FURIA as the team’s entry.
Active since 2017, YEKINDAR has competed in the professional Counter-Strike scene. During his career, he has earned around $732,168 in prize money through tournament competition.
YEKINDAR built his name in Virtus.pro as an entry fragger. His role is based on first contact on T sides, early map-control fights, and opening moves into bombsites. He looks for the first duel, forces CT players to react before the execute, and gives the round a clear direction from the start. FURIA first added him as a stand-in in April 2025, then made the move permanent in July after the loan period. His best rounds still come from fast first contact, where one opening kill changes how the defense has to play the rest of the round.
