Aleksi “allu” Jalli has revealed that the former ENCE roster would “love to stay together” after the organization’s disbandment. The team is open to talks with interested organizations. However, the coach also left the door open for the players to go their separate ways.
This story matters because the young team made rapid progress in a short time. As a result, it now hopes to find an organization that will give it time to grow. Meanwhile, the players are still practicing and still competing.
How allu Returned to ENCE
Allu spent many years at ENCE as a player. This year, because of the club’s financial restrictions, he got the chance to return as coach of the newly promoted academy roster. Talks began in March, and he took charge in June. He said he is “forever grateful” for the opportunity.
ENCE then filed for bankruptcy. Allu shared his position and his plans in a post on social media two days later.
The Team Is Still Under Contract and Still Playing
According to allu, the players are still under contract while the legal process plays out. Even so, the team has chosen to keep practicing. In addition, it will play its remaining online events.
The roster started the period with a tough run. Nevertheless, it climbed from 224th to 103rd in the VRS rankings since late July. Allu said the work and progress the team made in such a short time, both as a group and as individuals, has been very rewarding.
The coach also said the team wants to stay together. “If an org wants to give a young team the trust and time to grow, we’re open to talks,” he wrote.
Allu’s Words About Coaching and the Players’ Future
Allu described coaching as a real passion. He said he went through many highs and lows as a player, both inside and outside the server. Combined with his tier 1 experience and deep CS knowledge, he believes he has a lot to offer a team at any level. “I have much more to give,” he said.
At the same time, he made clear that nothing is fixed. “Everyone, including me, is also free to explore options,” the coach said. “If we go separate ways, I’m happy to give references or answer questions about any of our players to help them take their next step.”
What Comes Next for the Former ENCE Roster
For now, the roster remains under contract and keeps competing online. Its rise from 224th to 103rd in VRS gives interested organizations a clear result to look at. Finally, the decision rests with the market. An organization may sign the team as a unit, or the players may take separate paths. Allu has said he will support them either way.
