Three Maps in the Veto, Two Decided the Series
During the veto, DENDELE removed Dust2 first, and Aurora responded by banning Ancient. DENDELE then picked Cache, while Aurora countered with Mirage. After DENDELE removed Anubis and Aurora removed Inferno, Nuke was left over as the potential decider.
On Cache, Aurora set the tone immediately, winning 13-7 with a strong 7-5 first half and a dominant 6-2 second half. The Turkish and Finnish mix on Aurora’s side controlled the map’s key sites throughout, and DENDELE struggled to find answers on the CT side.
Mirage followed a similar path, though DENDELE pushed harder this time. Aurora edged the map 16-12, losing the first half 5-7 before flipping the script with a 7-5 second half. As a result, the match went to overtime, where Aurora sealed it with a clean 4-0 run.
Jimmphat Salo Named Match MVP
Aurora’s Jimmphat Salo earned MVP honors with a 1.49 rating, the highest mark on either roster. He finished the series 39-21 in kills-deaths, posted a 91.6 ADR, and held an 83.3% KAST. His performance carried Aurora through both maps and set the standard for his teammates.
Teammate Wicadia (Ali Haydar Yalçın) also stood out, recording the highest ADR of the match at 105.7 alongside a 46-28 kill-death record and a 1.31 rating. On the losing side, rdnzao Monteiro led DENDELE with a 1.09 rating and a 37-35 record, though it was not enough to keep his team in contention.

VRS Rankings Shift for Both Teams

For Aurora, however, the picture looks far brighter. The win sends them into the lower bracket semifinal, where they will face whichever team loses the upcoming M80 vs FURIA match. That means Aurora’s path forward already runs through one of two heavyweight names in the scene, so their next test will likely be tougher than DENDELE. Given how comfortably they handled both Cache and Mirage, though, Aurora head into that matchup with clear momentum and a rising VRS ranking to back it up.
