BC.Game have officially signed Tyson “asap” Paterson to complete the roster following the benching of Denis “electroNic” Sharipov. The move comes as the team continue their push toward PGL Singapore Major 2026, with the addition also expected to move BC.Game from the European to the Asian VRS race.
BC.Game announced asap with a short post on X shortly after reports from HLTV had identified him as the likely replacement for electroNic.

asap arrives in strong individual form
asap joins BC.Game after representing THUNDER dOWNUNDER. According to HLTV, the 23-year-old has averaged a 1.28 Rating 3.0 across 30 maps over the past three months, placing him among the top five percent of players tracked over that period.
Across 135 maps recorded with THUNDER dOWNUNDER, asap holds a 1.23 Rating 3.0, 81.5 ADR and 76.8% KAST.
He joins Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev, Azbayar “Senzu” Munkhbold, Ayush “mzinho” Batbold and Emil “Magisk” Reif in the starting lineup.

Signing could shift BC.Game into Asian VRS race
The roster change has major implications for the qualification route of BC.Game to PGL Singapore Major 2026.
HLTV reported that the addition of asap alongside Senzu and mzinho would give BC.Game a core classified as Asian instead of European for the VRS race. Before the change, the team had 1,191 points and sat 36th in Europe, where 18 teams are set to receive Major invitations.
The same total would currently place BC.Game fourth in the Asian VRS. Five teams from Asia are set to receive invitations to the Singapore Major.
The move therefore gives BC.Game a significantly different route toward the Major with the invitation deadline approaching in early November.
electroNic moved to the bench
BC.Game announced the benching of electroNic earlier on September 22. CEO Ali Muhanned told HLTV that the decision was connected to the limited time remaining before the Major deadline rather than issues with the player.
“If we had more time for the Major, I would have actually given him more time just because the team is new.”
electroNic had been part of the project before the latest rebuild brought Magisk, Senzu and mzinho into the lineup.
What’s next?
The next scheduled LAN for BC.Game is ROG Journey Autumn 2026, which begins on October 2 in Skövde, Sweden. The ranked event has a $20,000 prize pool and could mark the first official appearance of the new lineup with asap.
BC.Game have also secured a place at Stake Pulse Beat III after defeating Sashi 2:1 in the second open qualifier. The $80,000 LAN will take place in Stockholm from October 12–17, giving the team another opportunity to collect VRS points before the Major invitation deadline.
