Legendary Ukrainian AWPer Oleksandr s1mple Kostyliev has breathed new life into BC.Game after joining the roster. In just one month, his presence has already brought noticeable progress, resulting in a rapid rise in the HLTV rankings.

Fast Progress for BC.Game

A month ago, the legendary sniper, after spending two years on NAVI’s bench, finally announced that he would be joining BC.Game. For many, this came as a surprise, since the team is far below the level of NAVI or FaZe, where s1mple last played on loan at IEM Dallas and BLAST.tv Austin Major.

Despite the short period, s1mple and his new teammates have already played several matches. At Exort The Proving Grounds Season 3, the team secured a 2nd place finish, while at ESL Challenger League Season 50 Europe they ended in 9–12th place.

s1mple’s Personal Stats

Although s1mple is far from his peak individual form, considering his lack of practice in CS2 at the professional level and his repeated criticism of the game for its bugs, his results still look impressive. Over the past month, he has shown the following numbers:

  • Rating: 1.25
  • Swing: +2.73
  • ADR: 85.6
  • MULTI KILL: 20.5%

Gradual Rise in Rankings

While BC.Game currently competes mainly on the tier-2 and tier-3 scene, where the opposition is notably weaker than in top-tier tournaments, s1mple’s performances prove that he can still make an impact and remain a leader. His individual skill, precision, and experience have given the team a tangible boost and allowed them to consistently compete at this level.

This month has shown that even after a long break, s1mple still possesses the firepower to deliver a strong individual performance. And although many argue that his true test will come only at the level of ESL Pro League or a Major, it is already clear that he is regaining form.

The results came quickly: BC.Game climbed 26 spots in the ranking, now holding 45th place in VRS and 49th place in the HLTV world ranking. This could be just the beginning of a longer journey for the team, which with the arrival of s1mple has gained a chance to make some real noise on the broader European stage.
