BIG have parted ways with assistant coach Tizian “tiziaN” Feldbusch, ending his second spell with the organization. The 30-year-old returned to BIG in January 2026 after previously spending more than five years with the club as a player and inactive member of the roster.
BIG announced the departure on X, thanking tiziaN for his time with the organization and wishing him luck in his future projects. No reason for the separation was given.

More than six years across two spells with BIG
tiziaN first joined BIG from ALTERNATE aTTaX in February 2018. At the time, the transfer reportedly set a record fee for a player from Germany.
He remained in the active lineup until August 2022 before moving to the bench and briefly helping BIG Academy. His first spell with the organization officially ended in July 2023, more than five years after his arrival.
After retiring from professional play in April 2025, tiziaN returned to BIG on January 9, 2026 as assistant coach alongside head coach Sebastian “xenn” Hoch.
That means his second spell lasted just over eight months, while his combined time connected to BIG across both periods exceeded six years.
Cologne run and world No. 1 peak
The most memorable result of the first spell came at ESL One Cologne 2018, where BIG reached the Grand Final in front of the home crowd before finishing second.
Later that year, tiziaN also helped BIG reach the quarterfinals of the FACEIT Major 2018. Overall, he competed at four Majors with BIG, including IEM Katowice 2019, PGL Major Stockholm 2021 and PGL Major Antwerp 2022.
BIG reached another peak during the online era in 2020. With tiziaN in the lineup, the team climbed to #1 in the HLTV World Ranking and won DreamHack Masters Spring 2020 Europe, cs_summit 6 Europe, DreamHack Open Summer 2020 Europe and Funspark ULTI 2020 Europe Final. He later added the Roobet Cup 2022 title before leaving the active roster.
Return as assistant coach in 2026
tiziaN came back to BIG as part of the January rebuild that also brought Benjamin “blameF” Bremer and Josef “faveN” Baumann into the lineup.
His second spell began with a trophy at Roman Imperium Cup IV, where BIG defeated Betclic 2:0 in the Grand Final.
BIG later won HLC Belgrade PRO 2026 after beating FaZe 2:1 in the final. The run also secured the team a place at IEM Cologne Major 2026, where BIG eventually reached Stage 2.
The organization has not yet announced who will replace tiziaN in the coaching staff.
