Markus “pronax” Wallsten has asked Valve for help with what he describes as missing payments. The former CS:GO captain linked the issue to a long-running dispute involving GODSENT and The Final Tribe.
The post has drawn attention because pronax is one of Counter-Strike’s most successful leaders. He won three Major titles with Fnatic and later helped create GODSENT.
From Major titles to a payment dispute
Pronax led Fnatic during one of the team’s best periods. Under his leadership, Fnatic won DreamHack Winter 2013, ESL One Katowice 2015, and ESL One Cologne 2015. As a result, pronax became a three-time CS:GO Major winner.
Later, Wallsten became a co-founder of GODSENT. In 2019, GODSENT merged with The Final Tribe. Therefore, that merger now forms a key part of the story.
In 2020, pronax called the deal the “worst decision” of his life. He said he received a $500 monthly salary after the merger. In addition, he said he did not get the board seat he expected. These were Wallsten’s personal claims, and they were not independently verified.
What pronax asked Valve
In a new post, pronax addressed the official Counter-Strike account. He asked for help contacting someone at Valve about his money.
How can i get in contact with someone from Valve about my own money? I cant go through any law enforcement in Sweden since the biggest corruption to ever happen are against me (The Final Tribe, Mizi, pronax & GODSENT) all the damage caused against me during those years are still following me today.
I need to know what payments has been Done and to who, and i can prove that im missing money. If you help out it should be a simple fix
In short, Wallsten wants payment records. He wants to know what payments were made and who received them. He also claims that part of the money did not reach him.
However, the post does not name a missing amount. It also does not list payment dates, contracts, or a party responsible for the funds.
A past conflict returns
Pronax has spoken about money problems before. In August 2020, GODSENT said it had removed him from operational duties for a period of time. However, the organisation said he would remain a shareholder.
At that time, GODSENT did not confirm Wallsten’s claims against his colleagues. Meanwhile, pronax continued to speak about the dispute in public.
In June 2026, he again posted about financial problems and a conflict with Swedish authorities. His latest post includes claims against Swedish law enforcement as well. However, he did not provide evidence for those claims in the message.
Valve request has no public response
Valve has not publicly commented on pronax’s latest request. GODSENT, The Final Tribe, and Mizi have not issued public responses either.
Still, the post matters because of Wallsten’s place in Counter-Strike history. He was a key Fnatic captain and a GODSENT co-founder. If pronax shares contracts, payment records, or bank documents, the dispute could move beyond public claims and lead to a clear review of the alleged missing payments.
