Valve released a 70 MB Counter-Strike 2 update on October 2 that makes agents display their equipped gloves in the buy menu and during photobooth photography sessions. The patch also fixes grenade crosshair rendering, improves lighting on Warehouse and includes several UI and stability fixes.
Equipped gloves now appear on agents
The main visible change affects how agents are displayed in several parts of CS2.
Agents now wear the player’s currently equipped gloves while appearing in the buy menu. The same applies during photobooth photography sessions, allowing the selected glove model to be shown together with the agent.
The change gives players a more complete preview of their equipped cosmetics outside of live gameplay, with gloves now matching the selected agent in both the buy menu and photobooth.
Valve fixes grenade crosshair rendering
The update also addresses an issue with the grenade crosshair.
Valve fixed incorrect grenade crosshair rendering when crosshair thickness was set to three pixels. The Workshop convar whitelist was also updated to include the new crosshair settings.
Another UI fix corrects the formatting of titles in the commend and report dialogs.
Warehouse receives lighting improvements
Warehouse received lighting improvements in the October 2 update. Valve did not provide additional details about which areas of the map were changed.
The patch notes also include general stability improvements, without specifying individual crashes or performance issues addressed by the update.
