Counter-Strike 2 has received a small update of around 591 MB. This time, the developers did not change weapon balance or core modes, instead focusing on the interface, Workshop, and technical game settings.
What changed in the new patch
One of the changes affected the pet photo album pages. Text art in this section is now localized, so interface elements should display more correctly in different languages.
Separately, the developers added new buttons to the “Play” menu for managing downloaded maps from the Steam Workshop. This should make working with custom maps easier without needing to search for them through additional menus.
The changes also affected Vulkan
Another part of the patch concerns the technical side of CS2. The developers adjusted Vulkan shader cache extension flags, although the update list does not provide a detailed explanation of how this change affects performance.
Such fixes usually concern the internal work of rendering and shader caching. For most players, this change will likely remain unnoticeable during a regular match.

A small update without gameplay changes
The patch did not bring new maps, weapons, or changes to CS2 mechanics. The main part of the update is related to recently added features, custom maps, and the game’s internal technical components.
Thus, the 591 MB update became another small technical patch. The developers continue to refine new CS2 elements while also fixing the interface and individual system components.
