Former professional player and coach Devilwalk compared two versions of Falcons and concluded that the team with kyxsan looked more stable. In his opinion, the current roster does not always lack tactical ideas specifically — one of the main problems has become the difference in the players’ individual level.
Falcons looked more stable with kyxsan
Devilwalk believes that under kyxsan, Falcons’ game was much more controlled. The team may have been inferior to the current version in certain aspects, but there was less chaos in its actions and much more predictable structure throughout the entire map.
I think Falcons with kyxsan were a much more stable team. There was not as much chaos in their game, it was controlled. karrigan nullifies all the greatness that m0NESY produces.
Devilwalk’s main criticism of the current Falcons concerns the balance between the captain’s tactical value and his individual output. When one player regularly creates enormous impact, but the team is still forced to fight for every late round, the superstar’s advantage is partially lost.
m0NESY has to take on too much
Devilwalk separately highlighted m0NESY, who, in his opinion, too often practically keeps Falcons in the game on his own. Even when the sniper delivers an extremely strong map, it is sometimes not enough for the team to confidently close out the opponent.
Every time I watch their matches, m0NESY carries them on his back. karrigan drags the team down too much.
This kind of imbalance is what raises the biggest questions. Falcons have one of the strongest individual players in the world, but his advantage does not always translate into comfortable victories, because the roster’s overall firepower sometimes turns out to be insufficient.

The problem may not only be in the calls
At the same time, Devilwalk does not reduce Falcons’ problems exclusively to karrigan’s tactical leadership. He admits that on certain maps the team has a good T side, but on others its structures are read and countered by opponents much more easily.
If he were putting up at least 0.90, there would be no questions. But when you see him drop to 0.50 on certain maps… How can you watch a picture where one player has a 2.00 rating, while the team is struggling at 10:10, scraping out every round?
Therefore, the main question is the price Falcons pay for karrigan’s experience and leadership qualities. If his individual numbers drop too low, the other players have to compensate for that difference, and the biggest burden naturally falls on m0NESY.
Two different versions of Falcons
The comparison with the kyxsan period clearly shows the difference between the two approaches. The previous version of Falcons may not have had a captain as experienced as karrigan, but Devilwalk sees more stability in it and less dependence on extraordinary individual performances from one player.
The current Falcons have very high potential, but the team has not yet rid itself of the contrast between strong individual maps and moments when the entire system starts depending on m0NESY. That is why Devilwalk’s point is not that karrigan is incapable of leading a team, but rather whether his leadership compensates for the loss of firepower.
