EYEBALLERS defeated 3DMAX 13-5 on Inferno to improve to a perfect 2-0 record, while Alliance completely outclassed Ninjas in Pyjamas with a dominant 13-3 win on Ancient. EYEBALLERS became the first team to reach the 2-0 qualification matches, while 3DMAX and Alliance moved into the 1-1 pool. Ninjas in Pyjamas, meanwhile, fell to 0-2 and are now one defeat away from elimination.
Swedish teams split their paths in Round 2
Both matches followed a similar script, with the Swedish sides taking control early and never allowing their opponents back into the game. EYEBALLERS dismantled 3DMAX behind an excellent performance from Max “maxster” Jansson to become the first team through to the 2-0 bracket. Alliance also delivered one of the most dominant performances of the tournament by crushing Ninjas in Pyjamas, but because they entered the round with a 0-1 record, the victory lifted them to 1-1. NiP, meanwhile, dropped to the 0-2 elimination bracket.

EYEBALLERS stun 3DMAX to stay unbeaten
EYEBALLERS continued their strong run at XSE Pro League Guangzhou 2026 by defeating 3DMAX 13-5 on Inferno in the 1-0 pool. The Swedish squad controlled the match from start to finish, improving to a perfect 2-0 record, while 3DMAX dropped to the 1-1 bracket.
EYEBALLERS dominate Inferno
Inferno was the only map played after both teams removed multiple comfort picks during the veto. EYEBALLERS immediately took control, building a commanding 10-2 lead on the CT side before comfortably closing out the game 13-5.
Max “maxster” Jansson led the way with a dominant 17-10 K-D, 105.1 ADR, and a 1.82 rating. Jesper “JW” Wecksell also impressed with a 1.56 rating, while veteran Freddy “KRIMZ” Johansson added another solid performance with a 1.45 rating.
On the French side, only Lucas “Lucky” Chastang managed a rating close to 1.00, while the rest of the roster struggled to make an impact as 3DMAX were outclassed throughout the map.
Best player of the match
Max “maxster” Jansson earned Player of the Match honors after delivering one of his best performances of the tournament. The Swedish rifler finished with 17 kills, 105.1 ADR, and a 1.82 rating, consistently winning opening duels and shutting down every attempt by 3DMAX to recover.
Road through the Swiss stage
EYEBALLERS remain one of the biggest surprises of the tournament. They opened their campaign with a 13-10 victory over 9z before defeating 3DMAX to become the first team to reach the 2-0 qualification matches, moving within one victory of the playoffs.
3DMAX began the event with a hard-fought 16-14 victory over Ninjas in Pyjamas but were unable to carry that momentum into Round 2. They now sit at 1-1 and remain firmly in contention for a playoff place.
Alliance crush Ninjas in Pyjamas to level their record
Alliance produced one of the most convincing victories of the day by dismantling Ninjas in Pyjamas 13-3 on Ancient. The dominant display improved Alliance’s record to 1-1 at XSE Pro League Guangzhou 2026, while NiP slipped to 0-2 and now face elimination in their next Swiss Stage match.
Alliance leave no chance for NiP
Ancient quickly turned into a one-sided affair. Alliance stormed to a 9-3 lead in the first half before winning four consecutive rounds after the side switch to secure a convincing 13-3 victory.
Simon “twist” Eliasson delivered an outstanding performance, posting 18 kills, 121 ADR, and a 2.00 rating. Arvid “avid” Åberg and Jonatan “bobeksde” Persson also finished with ratings above 1.35 as Alliance dominated every phase of the game.
Ninjas in Pyjamas struggled from the opening pistol round. None of their players managed a rating above 0.90, with xKacpersky leading the team on just a 0.90 rating.
Best player of the match
Simon “twist” Eliasson was the clear MVP of the match. He finished with 18-6 K-D, 121 ADR, and a superb 2.00 rating while winning nearly every important duel on Ancient.
Road through the Swiss stage
Alliance bounced back after opening the tournament with a 4-13 defeat to PARIVISION. Their dominant 13-3 victory over Ninjas in Pyjamas evens their record at 1-1 and keeps them firmly in the race for a playoff spot.
Ninjas in Pyjamas have now suffered consecutive defeats, first falling 14-16 to 3DMAX before being overwhelmed by Alliance. Sitting at 0-2, the Swedish organization must now win every remaining Swiss Stage match to avoid elimination.
