Level 1 leads the comparison
The approximate values visible in the graphic include:
- Level 1 — around 8.5%
- Level 2 — around 7.8%
- Level 3 — around 7.2%
- Level 5 — around 6.5%
- Level 10 — around 5.5%
That puts the gap between levels 1 and 10 at roughly three percentage points. The decline is more pronounced at the lower end of the scale. By levels 8–10, the bars are much closer together, with all three below 6%.
These figures are estimates from the bar heights, as the graphic does not display exact values for each level.
FACEIT questions the pros don’t fake motto
FACEIT connected the statistics to the familiar community motto about committing to a defuse. In the accompanying post, the platform described the situation as sticking the defuse while opponents are still alive:

What FACEIT measured
The vertical axis measures ninja defuses as a percentage of all successful defuses. It describes how often a completed defuse falls into that category. The chart does not include failed attempts, so it cannot establish the success rate of an individual ninja defuse attempt.
FACEIT identifies the source as Season 9 matchmaking data. The post and graphic do not provide a match count, an exact date range or further details about the filters used.
