FURIA defeated M80 2:0 in the Group A upper bracket semifinal, securing a place in the playoffs at BLAST Open Porto 2026. The collective came back to win Cache 16:13 in overtime before closing Dust2 13:5.
Kaike “KSCERATO” Cerato delivered a dominant individual performance, finishing the series with a 1.86 Rating 3.0, 50 kills and more than 100 average damage per round.
Tournament context
Both collectives entered the match after winning their opening series. FURIA started Porto with a dominant 2:0 victory over paiN, while M80 produced one of the first upsets of the tournament by beating Natus Vincere 2:1.
The upper bracket semifinal also carried a direct playoff spot, with the winner guaranteed to continue the tournament in Porto.

M80 controlled much of their own map choice and took a 7:5 lead into the second half. The North American collective later reached a 12:8 advantage and moved within one round of taking the map.
FURIA responded by winning four consecutive rounds to force overtime at 12:12. The Brazilian collective then took four of the five overtime rounds to complete the comeback 16:13.
KSCERATO was the clear standout on Cache, finishing with 32–14, 99.9 ADR and a 1.86 Rating 3.0.

FURIA carried the momentum into their own map pick and built an 8:4 advantage in the first half. M80 managed only one round after the side switch as FURIA quickly closed Dust2 13:5 and completed the sweep.
Mirage, which had been left as the deciding map, was not needed.

KSCERATO was comfortably the highest-rated player of the series and led FURIA on both maps. His performance on Cache was particularly important, with the rifler producing 32 kills as FURIA recovered from four rounds down late in regulation.
Mareks “YEKINDAR” Gaļinskis followed with a 1.23 Rating 3.0, while Danil “molodoy” Golubenko finished at 1.03.
For M80, Mason “Lake” Sanderson was the only player to finish above a 1.10 rating. He recorded 39–37, 86.8 ADR and a 1.22 Rating 3.0, but the rest of the lineup struggled to match the individual output of FURIA.

FURIA strengthened their position in sixth place in VRS, while the defeat had only a minor effect on M80 and left the collective in 39th.
What’s next?
FURIA advance to the Group A upper bracket final, where they will face Spirit on August 31. Both collectives have already secured playoff spots, but the winner of the series will advance directly to the semifinals in Porto, while the loser will begin the playoffs from the quarterfinals.
M80 drop to the lower bracket and will face Aurora on August 30. The match will be an elimination series, with the winner advancing to the Group A lower bracket final and the loser leaving the tournament.
