FUT Esports player Laurențiu “lauNX” Țârlea has revealed that a hand injury is the reason behind his recent absence from streaming. The Romanian Counter-Strike 2 player shared photos of several wounds on his hand and explained that he was injured while trying to break up a fight between dogs at his home.
lauNX injured while separating dogs

lauNX addressed his recent streaming inactivity on social media on August 7. The 21-year-old posted photos showing several scratches and a heavily bandaged hand, while reassuring followers that he expects the recovery to be relatively quick.
For anyone wondering why I stopped streaming recently #recovery. In 1 week max hopefully im back in business
The images immediately raised questions from fans and other members of the esports community about what had happened. Responding to one of them, lauNX explained that two dogs had started fighting inside his house. He stepped in to separate them and ended up suffering the injuries in the process.
Got into a dog fight with my boy in the house while he was pretty aggressive. I managed to put him to the ground and show that mf who is in charge but he took a good bite of my hand and i can’t move my thumb but that’s all, interesting experience, dogs are stronger then humans
In another reply, the Romanian clarified that the incident involved his dog and another dog named Atlas, with lauNX attempting to separate the two during the altercation.
Injury leaves lauNX unable to move his thumb
Although lauNX approached the situation humorously on social media, the injury appears significant enough to temporarily prevent him from streaming. According to the player, the dog bit his hand and he is currently unable to properly move his thumb.
He nevertheless suggested that the problem should not keep him sidelined for long, estimating that he could return to streaming within approximately one week. When one fan joked about whether the injuries came from an e-scooter accident, lauNX replied that he had instead been involved in a dog fight, adding that he “won the fight but with battle scars.”
Esports community wishes lauNX a quick recovery

The post prompted numerous messages of support. Fans expressed concern after seeing the photos, while several esports personalities wished the Romanian a speedy recovery.
FUT Esports also reacted publicly to the incident with a short message:
Get well soon kanka…
Others echoed the organization’s wishes, with FUT’s Rowen, XONI, NXG | ViZL and other community members sending recovery messages. Despite the painful-looking injuries, lauNX appeared in good spirits throughout his replies. For now, his main focus will be recovering movement in his injured hand before returning to streaming and regular gaming activity.
lauNX hopes to return soon
The incident appears set to result in only a short break if lauNX’s initial recovery estimate proves accurate. He expects to be back in action within a week, although he has not provided a specific date for his return. For a professional Counter-Strike player, full hand and thumb mobility is particularly important, making his recovery worth following over the coming days.
