Aurora continued their strong run at StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2026 and, after victories over NAVI and NRG, defeated Vitality in the upper final. One of the key players of the series was Jimpphat with a 1.36 rating, while the Finn himself named confidence and fearless play as the main reasons for his current level.
Aurora finally confirmed their potential with a result
Jimpphat admitted that Aurora’s new roster had already looked good in practice before, but in official tournaments the team had constantly lacked something. The victory over Vitality became an important confirmation that the roster is already capable not only of challenging top teams, but also of closing such series.

It is especially important that Aurora won the series fairly confidently. According to Jimpphat, Inferno remained tense, but on the other maps the team controlled the game much better, and the result itself should give the roster even more confidence before the decisive match.
Jimpphat is playing with maximum confidence
Recently, Jimpphat has become much more active in his actions. He plays more aggressively in lurk positions, looks for opening duels more often, and tries to bring the team back into rounds on his own after an early player loss.

According to the Finn, this exact style allows him to show his best game. Against Vitality, he consciously tried not to think about the opponents’ names and not to put them above himself, because excessive respect for the opponent can effectively lose a duel before it even begins.
Against Vitality, it was necessary to play without fear
Jimpphat separately emphasized the psychological aspect of the series. Vitality remain a team with very strong individual players and refined team play, so Aurora could not afford to enter the server thinking that the opponent was stronger by default.
Against them, you have to play without fear and not think about who exactly you are taking an aim duel against. You just go and shoot.
The Finn tried to make maximum use of his aggression on Nuke, looking for opportunities through Door, Hut, and Mid. This approach worked, and his 1.36 became the best rating in the series.

Despite reaching the Grand Final, Jimpphat does not want to draw conclusions based on just one tournament. Aurora are still a relatively new team, but the series of victories over NAVI, NRG, and Vitality has already shown how high the ceiling of this roster can be.
I just want to play as the new Aurora and show how good we can actually be in a really important match.
The main thing for the team now is not to return to the problems that appeared at previous tournaments. Aurora want to use their current momentum in the final, and after StarSeries ends, analyze the experience gained and continue developing the roster.
Direct qualification to the final gives Aurora an advantage
The victory in the upper bracket allowed Aurora to avoid the Consolidation Final and advance directly to the Grand Final. On Sunday, their future opponent will first play a Bo3, and only after that will play the decisive Bo5 against Aurora.
In this situation, we should have an advantage because we will have more energy.
Jimpphat believes that the extra time will give Aurora the opportunity to prepare better, rest, and study their future opponent in more detail. If Vitality reach the final again, according to him, the previous victory will no longer matter — Aurora will have to prove their level once again in the most important match of the tournament.
