karrigan’s individual form remains one of the most discussed topics around Falcons. The team captain does not deny that his current numbers are far from desired, but he himself believes that the problem does not fully reflect his real level of play.
karrigan sees the problem in psychology
Over the last three months, karrigan has only a 0.77 Rating 3.0 across 35 played maps, while his Firepower is rated at just 2/100. Against the backdrop of high individual expectations from the Falcons roster, such numbers regularly become a reason for criticism of the Dane.
I know that everyone is talking about my game, that it is not good enough. I felt good before the last tournament, and then everything became even worse than it had been before. I think I need to look at it from the psychological side. I know that my level of play is not as bad as the numbers show.
At the same time, karrigan himself does not look like someone who considers his current form to be his new stable level. On the contrary, the Falcons captain is confident that he is capable of playing better, and sees the return of confidence and the right psychological state as his main task.
The numbers really look rough
The most problematic part of karrigan’s profile right now remains his firepower. In addition to the overall 0.77 rating, he has only 19/100 in Trading and 37/100 in Clutching. At the same time, his Entrying score of 86/100 and Utility score of 77/100 show that he is still performing part of his team work at a high level.
This clearly highlights the specifics of his role in Falcons. karrigan was never expected to put up numbers on the level of the roster’s main stars, because a significant part of his value lies in coordinating the team, calling, and creating conditions for his teammates. But when his personal rating drops so low, compensating for the lack of frags becomes increasingly difficult.
Falcons need a more stable captain
At the same time, the team has already shown that it can beat strong opponents even with its IGL in his current form. Falcons’ recent results include victories over NAVI, Aurora, and TYLOO, although at the same time the team lost to Spirit and Vitality.
That is why even a small individual improvement from karrigan could noticeably change the balance of the roster. Falcons do not necessarily need superstar numbers from him — it would be enough to reduce the number of maps where his personal contribution in duels becomes critically low.
Regaining confidence could be the key
karrigan’s words show that he is aware of the problem and is not trying to explain it solely through his role or the team system. After a period when he felt better before the tournament, the subsequent decline in results forced him to pay attention specifically to the psychological component.
Now the main question is whether the Falcons captain will be able to transfer this understanding directly onto the server. If karrigan can regain at least a stable individual level while maintaining his influence as an IGL, one of Falcons’ most obvious weaknesses could become much less visible.
