Team Spirit and Liquid have secured their spots in the BLAST Bounty Season 2 LAN Finals in Malta. For Liquid, this is an especially significant achievement — after losses to VP.Prodigy and Sashi, their victory over FURIA became an important step forward and a chance to regain confidence ahead of the decisive stage of the season.
G2 vs Team Spirit (1–2)
Despite losing 11–13 on their own pick, Mirage, G2 started quite confidently, taking the first half 7–5 and coming close to forcing overtime. The second map, Ancient, turned out to be even more intriguing: G2 dominated the first half 10–2 — a rare success against Spirit, especially considering the form of donk and sh1ro. Although Spirit managed to close the gap, G2 held their ground and took the win 13–8.
On the decider, Dust2, Spirit immediately set a high tempo, while G2’s attack proved ineffective. In the end, Spirit closed it out 13–7, eliminating G2 from the tournament. The best player of the match was sh1ro, with an ADR of 84.1 and a 1.29 rating.
FURIA vs Liquid (1-2)
On the first map, Mirage, FURIA had little trouble securing a 13–4 victory. Liquid managed to take only four rounds on the T side and completely failed on defense. Train was almost a mirror image: this time, it was FURIA who, despite some resistance, won just five rounds in the first half and, after switching sides, couldn’t withstand Liquid’s strong offense — 13–6 in favor of the North Americans.
The decider, Dust2, began with an even fight, as the first half ended tied. After the side switch, Liquid completely took control, winning six rounds in a row and leaving FURIA with virtually no chance for a comeback. The final score was 13–7 for Liquid. The best player of the match was Twistzz, with an ADR of 89.4 and a 1.20 rating.
As a result, Spirit and Liquid join the participants of the tournament’s final stage in Malta, where a battle for the trophy and a substantial prize pool awaits. Both teams have shown character and determination, making their upcoming performances at the LAN Finals one of the key storylines of the season.
