Luminosity defeated B8 2:0 in the semifinal of Logitech G Play Connect 2026 and secured a place in the Grand Final. Aurélien “afro” Drapier led the server with a 1.26 Rating 3.0 as Luminosity won Inferno 13:10 and Ancient 13:9.
The victory also gave Luminosity revenge for the group stage, where B8 had beaten them 13:11 on Dust2.

Inferno remained level throughout the opening half, with the teams reaching the break at 6:6. Luminosity found the edge after switching sides, winning seven rounds to four and closing their own map pick 13:10.
Luminosity then carried the advantage onto Ancient, despite playing the B8 pick. They built a 7:5 lead in the first half before taking six of the next ten rounds to finish the map 13:9 and complete the 2:0 series.

For B8, Andrii “npl” Kukharskyi was the highest-rated player with a 1.08 Rating 3.0, finishing the series with a 34–33 K–D and 80.4 ADR.

Luminosity gained 46 VRS points from the victory and climbed four positions to #19. B8 lost 19 points and dropped from #11 to #12.
