BETBOOM continue to strengthen the core of their roster following the team’s most successful period in 2026. One of the key steps involved securing the future of Magnojez, who has developed into one of the team’s most important players over the past season.
Magnojez stays with BETBOOM
The organization announced a contract extension with Kirill “Magnojez” Rodnov. The agreement was reached during the summer off-season, and retaining the 22-year-old rifler was one of BETBOOM’s main roster priorities.
Magnojez has represented the team since March 2024. His average rating throughout his time on the roster stands at 1.17, while in 2026, that figure increased to 1.20, the highest among BETBOOM players.
BETBOOM want to build the team around Magnojez
The organization’s CEO, Artem Saveliev, explicitly described extending the partnership as one of the club’s most important objectives. BETBOOM view Magnojez not simply as a strong rifler, but as one of the fundamental players for the roster’s future development.
For us as an organization, retaining a player of such caliber and continuing to build a team around him was one of our top priorities.
This approach seems logical given the player’s own progress. In 2026, Magnojez took on a significantly greater role in BETBOOM’s results and became one of the team’s most consistent performers at major tournaments.
A breakthrough season for Magnojez
2026 has become the most important stage of Magnojez’s career. Together with BETBOOM, he made his Major debut in Cologne, while the team gradually established itself among the contenders capable of regularly competing for high placements.
The past few months have only reinforced this progress. BETBOOM reached the final of Thunderpick World Championship 2026, where they lost to FURIA 2:3, having defeated PARIVISION, Legacy, and Falcons during the tournament.
BETBOOM established themselves among the contenders
Second place at Thunderpick World Championship was one of the roster’s strongest results. At the same time, the team secured qualification for PGL Major Singapore, making the contract extension with one of its leaders look like an attempt to maintain its current positive momentum.
For Magnojez himself, this is also an important sign of trust. BETBOOM are not planning to rebuild the roster around a new central figure. Instead, the organization wants to continue developing with the rifler who has already demonstrated his ability to serve as the team’s primary source of firepower.
The next stage for BETBOOM
The main question now is how far this roster can progress after its successful run of results. The team has already reached a major final and secured a Major spot, but the next step must be competing for trophies on a consistent basis.
Magnojez will remain one of the key figures in this project. Following his 1.20 rating in 2026 and BETBOOM’s strongest season in recent times, his contract extension looks like more than just a roster decision — it represents the organization’s commitment to preserving its established core.
