MIBR have moved Breno “brnz4n” Poletto to the bench, marking the second time in two years that the Brazilian rifler has been removed from the active roster. The contract remains valid, but brnz4n is now allowed to listen to offers from other teams.
The move comes after a difficult period for both the player and MIBR. Recent international results have been inconsistent, while the individual form of brnz4n has also declined over the past few months.
brnz4n returns to the bench for the second time
This is not the first time MIBR have moved brnz4n out of the starting lineup. The first benching came in September 2024, when MIBR signed Lucaozy and removed brnz4n from the active roster.
After spending several months on the sidelines, brnz4n returned to the starting five in February 2025. The second spell lasted around a year and a half before MIBR once again decided to make a change.
MIBR was the first professional organization for brnz4n
The decision carries additional significance because almost the entire professional career of brnz4n has been connected to MIBR. The Brazilian joined MIBR Academy in August 2021 at the age of 17.
Before that, brnz4n had only briefly represented the PUGZEIROS mix, making MIBR the first professional organization in his career. The academy period did not last long, as brnz4n soon received opportunities with the main roster before becoming a permanent member of the starting lineup in 2022.
Since then, brnz4n has spent almost the entire professional career under the MIBR banner, including the academy period and the previous spell on the bench.

The organization confirmed that the contract remains active, meaning brnz4n has not officially left MIBR. However, the player is free to listen to proposals and explore opportunities with other teams.
A future transfer would take brnz4n to another professional organization after spending more than five years within the MIBR system.
brnz4n struggled individually in recent months
Individual results had also declined before the latest roster change. Over the last three months, brnz4n played 33 maps and recorded a 0.92 Rating 3.0.
The performance profile on HLTV also showed weaker numbers in firepower, clutching and utility impact, while entrying remained one of the stronger areas of the game for brnz4n.

The drop in form came during a period when MIBR were also struggling to find consistent results against international opposition.
MIBR struggled to find consistency internationally
MIBR showed good form in South American competition and won the StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2026 South America Closed Qualifier after victories over Fluxo, LP, ShindeN and BESTIA.
The results outside the region were less convincing. At XSE Pro League Guangzhou 2026, MIBR started with victories over FaZe and BIG but later lost to PARIVISION and 9z, finishing the tournament in 9th–11th place.
The run at Esports World Cup 2026 was also short. MIBR opened with a 6:13 defeat to Astralis, responded with a 2:0 victory over K27 and were then eliminated by Legacy after losing the series 0:2.
The inconsistent international results were followed by another change to the starting roster.
MIBR reportedly close to signing tomaszin
A replacement for brnz4n may already be on the way. According to Dust2 Brasil, MIBR are close to signing Argentine rifler Tomas “tomaszin” Corna from BESTIA.
The report appeared before the official announcement that brnz4n had been moved to the bench. If the deal is completed, tomaszin is expected to take the vacant place in the starting lineup.
For brnz4n, the latest decision could mark the end of a five-year chapter with the first professional organization of his career.
