Mirage became the most-played map at ESL Pro League Season 24, appearing 25 times across the tournament. Ancient was at the opposite end of the map pool with only seven games, according to HLTV statistics.
A total of 99 maps were played during the event, with Mirage and Dust2 accounting for 44 of them.
MIRAGE LED THE MAP POOL
Mirage was used in more than a quarter of all maps at ESL Pro League Season 24.
Full map distribution:
- Mirage — 25 maps (25.3%)
- Dust2 — 19 maps (19.2%)
- Anubis — 14 maps (14.1%)
- Cache — 14 maps (14.1%)
- Inferno — 10 maps (10.1%)
- Nuke — 10 maps (10.1%)
- Ancient — 7 maps (7.1%)
Mirage alone was played 18 more times than Ancient and appeared more than three times as often as the least-used map.
Dust2 was the clear second choice with 19 appearances, while Anubis and Cache shared third place with 14 each.
ANCIENT WAS THE LEAST-PLAYED MAP
Ancient appeared only seven times throughout the entire tournament, making it the least-played map in the pool.
Inferno and Nuke were also relatively uncommon with ten appearances each. Together, the three least-played maps accounted for 27 of the 99 maps played at the event.
The difference between the top and bottom of the pool was significant, with Mirage alone accounting for 25.3% of all maps compared to just 7.1% for Ancient.
DUST2 WAS ALMOST PERFECTLY BALANCED BETWEEN SIDES
The side distribution also showed major differences between maps.

Dust2 was the most balanced map at the tournament, with only a 0.2 percentage point difference between CT and T sides.
Cache showed the largest advantage for CT sides at 55.7%, followed by Nuke at 54.9% and Anubis at 54.4%.
Ancient was the only map where T sides won more rounds than CT sides, with a 51.7% T-side win rate.
