The recent benchings of Helvijs “broky” Saukants and Álvaro “SunPayus” García inspired one of the biggest Counter-Strike memes of the week. CIS analyst OverDrive joined the joke with a satirical post claiming that Miłosz “Ultimate” Biliński is the only remaining member of the game’s “legendary big three” AWPers. The post referenced a long-running community meme rather than a serious player ranking.
A meme born from months of criticism
For months, fans jokingly referred to broky, SunPayus, and Ultimate as Counter-Strike’s “great AWPer trio.” The nickname was ironic, not complimentary. All three players faced constant criticism, and many fans believed their teams should replace them.
Everything changed within a few days. FaZe moved broky to the bench, while G2 did the same with SunPayus. As a result, Ultimate became the only active member of the jokingly named trio. OverDrive embraced the meme with a sarcastic post on X:
Sad day in CS… Ultimate is the only one left of the big three insane awpers. Broky and SunPayus are benched, that means that we lost the opportunity to watch the best content in the world. Liquid are smart enough to keep Ultimate making our day happier watching his great moves.
The post quickly attracted nearly 100,000 views and sparked discussions across both X and Telegram.

Telegram community instantly understood the joke
Unlike many users on X, members of OverDrive’s Telegram community immediately recognized the satire. They continued the joke in the comments instead of taking the post seriously. Many fans joked that Counter-Strike had entered “20 years of sadness” after losing two members of the trio. Others predicted that broky would return to the server within a few months. Several users joked that Liquid would eventually replace Ultimate as well. Others proposed creating a “superteam” featuring every controversial AWPer in one lineup.
X users split between jokes and serious debate
The discussion on X took a different direction. Some fans laughed at the meme and added their own jokes. Others interpreted OverDrive’s words literally. Many replies argued that Ultimate should not appear in any discussion about elite AWPers. Others criticized his inconsistency or mentioned players such as woxic and oSee instead. Some users even turned the conversation into transfer speculation surrounding broky, while others simply replied with memes.

The joke perfectly matched the transfer window
OverDrive never intended the post to rank the world’s best AWPers. Instead, he referenced one of the community’s longest-running jokes. Even so, the post became one of the most discussed CS2 memes of the week. The timing made the joke even funnier. Both broky and SunPayus lost their starting spots within days of each other. That unexpected coincidence left Ultimate as the last active member of Counter-Strike’s infamous “big three” of frequently criticized AWPers.
